Q: Is this made from a cloth material? If so that would hold moisture!

They seem to be made from a moisture-wicking material. We have used these for years and have never had an issue with moisture affecting the hearing aids themselves. They do eventually get dirty enough to affect sound transparency and then need to be washed or replaced.

Q: Is Material porous enough not to effect sound transmission that has to go thru it ? Or, must make holes in ? Thanks.

I never made holes through it. I think if you did that it would unravel. In any case never had any problems with sound transmissions.

Q: Having trouble with sweat shutting down hearing aid can product be treated for better water repellent? Product is soaking up sweat

I bought them specifically to protect the hearing aids from sweat. They worked well for me, however, I didn’t wear the hearing aids during serious, sweaty workouts. You might try Scotchguard. Won’t hurt to try.
