Fibreglass everywhere... Absolutely no warning labels of there being fiberglass and I had no idea what fibreglass was until all of the skin on my arms, legs and face started to go red and blotchy, which is probably a much worse reaction than most, but my skin condition has made it so much worse and my skin is still irritated and blotchy 2 days after working with it. I have ouldnt have cut it inside had I know that it was fiberglass and it seems hoovering doesn't help with the fibreglass particles everywhere either! Very irritated and concerning taking this to the CAB, I've lost the ability to use one of my rooms in my flat for fear of it making all the itching worse again.. very disappointed that the Fibreglass insulation wasn't even tight to the ducting it was VERY loose which probably just made the whole situation much worse!

I was amused by the "don't buy 'cos it contains fibreglass" review - Of course it does, just like all the other ones I looked at. Clearly that person hasn't spent a weekend installing loft insulation :-)OK, on to MY review: The ducting came quickly and well packaged. Don't be tempted to open the plastic bag until you're ready to install. I did and the ducting quickly expanded! A perfect fit for my two ICON 30 extractors although the vent through the roof was a bit too big for the pipe... My fault entirely. I got around it by pushing the ducting inner inside the vent pipe and securing the outer to hold it in place. No obvious benefits yet but when the temperature drops, I'm hoping to not see any more condensation dripping through the roof fans.One more thing, I strongly recommend that you buy some of the 100mm stainless hose clips available here. They're SO much better than cable ties and at less than a quid each, great value.

Made my vivarium exhaust so very quiet. Going to replace the bathroom ducting with this stuff too! Made it so much quieter even with an upgraded fan!Cut it outside or something though - and wear gloves/long sleeves - the fibreglass is a b*tch.

Not very acousticly insulating but good value, well packed and fast delivery.
