Q: Is this fabric made 100% from ramie? Is it sheer or opaque?

This is a sheer stiff and rather coarse weave net-like fabric (distance between yarns around 2mm square). Same fiber yarn in the weft and wrap direction. Not able to tell ramie from hemp in this type of fabric weave, but it is definitely one of these.

Q: can you make washcloths out of this material?

we did not do in this way, usually we use this to make coaster,summer mat, but we think it is ok to use in this way. as it can also make bubble like a nylon bath ball, and outstand nylon material as it is nature , better to skin. (note it will not so stable as Nylon, the weaving longtitude and latitude maybe moving after long time using).

hi，i am afraid not.the holes are not very big enough for wools to go through.

yes, 100% fro Ramie, it is sheer, not commented to make it into blouses/pants/skirt/dresses. usually we use this to make mat.heat pat,table runner etc.
