Is the whisk supposed to unwind? It came with the ends curled up but immediately after using the ends straighten.

Actually, I understand that unwinding is normal, and is supposed to occur, allowing a better result. There’s a term for it, but can’t recall what it is…. maybe “blooming”.

Noob: so if you make the tea, in the bowl, do you drink it from the bowl?

We prefer to pour the matcha drink into a cup then drink it since the bowl can get hot.

Completely up to you but most people use hot water and matcha tea powder, others might add milk
