RDS MFG INC - 72117 Transfer Tank 70Gal

This review is after owning it 6 plus years.,Good strong tank , no leaks has a drain and it aluminum ( lightweight).would love to purchase another but the price increase OMG !

This product says it is 48” wide. With the feet it says 52 in the question and answer section. I was able to cut the side feet because my utility bed is 48 3/4 wide but the drain plugs are for some reason on the side and make it well over 48”. I tried different plugs that had smaller heads but still could not make it fit. I will have to go to a shop that can weld an aluminum plate over the drain plugs/ bungs so that it is 48” like it says. Also the bungs for the plugs were welded crooked. Putting the drains on the side makes absolutely no sense instead of the front or back. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Wasted 4 hours of my time trying to make it work because of innacurate measurements given by the manufacturer.

A little bit overpriced for what it is.Nice and light.Easy install.Shipped and arrived in a timely fashion.Only real con that I've came accross so far is that it would be nice and helpful to have upper mounting locations since it is a tall tank to help prevent it from slapping against the front of the bed.Overall very satisfied with the tank.

I have had this product for a little over an year now and love it the range of driving pulling my travel trailer has more then doubled with my truck tank at forty gallons and this tank at ninety gallons I can spend more time on the road instead of at the pump I have it pump fed into my primary tank all with products purchased from amazon

2.5 months old and the welding cracked.Lost 70 gallons of fuel .No refund.Rds—Junk.
