FatboyBolleke Indoor/Outdoor LED Lantern, Anthracite

Value: ***Durability: ****I have been trying to find a solution to light my outdoor kitchen. I've looked at wired and solar solutions, but this little light (not really that little) seems to fit the bill perfectly.So far, the product does seem durable but I'm hesitant to give durability more than 4 stars until I've had the light for more time.As far as value goes, the product feels overpriced at $100; $65-70 seems a bit more appropriate. That said, I can't find anything else that fits the same need that Fatboy Bolleke fills.

I will say, I do love these lanterns and, I’ve bought one in almost every color. Only wish the charge could last a bit longer and the oldest one does appear to have some condensation in it that I haven’t tried to fix yet. That being said, they’re super easy to charge up, look great, conveniently hang anywhere and have pretty good light. Very durable and have not cracked after dropping on brick patio. I’ve also just found a great extra bonus, looping it around my wrist to walk down steps on side of my house where it’s not lit, or taking my trash to the alley dumpster when it’s dark! Would be GREAT for camping! Also great to hang from my patio umbrella for extra ambiance. Price is a bit steep but seem to be very well made and pretty unique.

They are to bulky looking for inside the home. Would work best, just how they use them in the photos. Hanging in big trees or high above event tables in the rafters. The rubber band are super thick. It is very bulky item. I returned them.

I was nervous about buying these given the cost and all the negative comments, but after finally setting up, I’m contemplating more! The light, on the brightest setting, is still warm and cozy, but as illuminating as the two strands of solar Edison bulb string light sets I have in my patio (and easier to turn in and way more reliable). I had no issues charging and could not have been happier with these. Curious if these are something durable to just leave up, but aside from that, I’m sold on these. PS - light in photo appears much brighter/whiter than these appear in person. Adds a really lovely glow to my patio. Very happy.

I wrote a 2 star review and petitioned for a replacement and then we tried one more thing... we tried every single charger in the house and finally found one that is compatible with the lamp and so it now holds a charge for the expected time. We had tried a few (it doesn't come with a charger, just the cord) and there is a note in the packaging to make sure it meets the specifications but finally the 8th charger did the trick. So if you have lots of chargers hanging around, try that. It was actually an old ikea charger that did the trick. Good luck.We are very sad. At first I didn't love the temperature of the light (too blue/white LED-ish compared to a warmer light) but we got used to it and found it very useful. We used it occasionally, maybe less than a dozen times. Unfortunately it doesn't now seem to hold a charge. It charged all day and just starts flickering immediately after turning on. The return window was only a month and there doesn't seem to be any recourse for us. I think we need to stop buying things like this from Amazon where there isn't much buyer protection.

This is a beautiful light and looked perfect for my purpose (providing light for a small patio). Unfortunately the one I got would not turn on even after a whole day of charging. Amazon provided terrific customer service - I returned the light and got a refund very quickly.

I bought two of these and loved them at first, but neither one is holding a charge. I tried the charger that came with them as well as my own USBC cable and nothing. Really disappointing for $200+. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but it shouldn’t be this complicated.

This is a great product. I purchased three to hang from our outdoor umbrellas. They are good looking, flexible and very easy to use. Love that they have three brightness settings. The battery lasts a good while. Wish they had a remote. Would buy again!

The product was supposed to be new, but the box had been opened before. The box was torn (inside) and seemed to be old, as it was discolored. It is a DEL light, so its service of life depends on its use. We don't know if (and how) this product has been used before, as the box was already opened. I asked for a reimbursement. BBQ Addiction accepted to reimburse the product, but refused to pay for the return, even if the product was not as advertised. So I would have to pay to return it ($$$). For me, it's not fair.
