I purchased not one, but THREE of these incredible lightweight backpacks!! I could not be more impressed! Just returned from an active vacation to Hawaii with 3 teenagers. The packs went everywhere from beaches to rainforest hikes, on boats, car trunks, picnics, helicopter ride, submarine ride, etc. They are invincible! There are 3 very roomy compartments, plus a bonus zip pouch that dangles from the top inside (it becomes the outer wrap when turned inside out and folded up.) The zippers are even sturdier than I expected. Love the mesh straps-- in tropical humidity I barely noticed them-- and I sweat a lot! We even machine washed one of the packs that got a little muddy, and air dried it. It looks as good as new. The water bottle pockets are sturdy, and also hold snacks or a compact umbrella. I am VERY picky about what I pack and carry when travelling. This is now my new "go to" pack for travel-- just fits in the palm of your hand, and easily becomes a HUGE day pack or extra emergency carry on for the plane. The straps are l o n g for a compact pack-- perfect for taller or bigger adults. I have another 35 liter pack I'll not likely use again because it is so much bulkier to pack. Taking 2 of these to Spain in a few weeks to use as day packs and "train" packs, and I know they will perform well and take up only as much room as 2 pair of socks. The "only" drawback I can even think of is that they are not 100% waterproof-- more like water resistant. If that's important, I'd consider spraying them with waterproofer. But we were in many light rains, and everything dried out pretty fast. This is an active everyday daypack-- not for long, multi-day treks, or for 30 pounds of books or something. It's just right for towel, swimsuits, snacks, jackets, etc. and it folds into the smallest packet of any of the compact packs I've ever seen for the huge open size. There are a dream-- and the price point is perfect. Buy 2! You'll love them!

Nice lightweight bag. Stronger than it looks upon first glance. Roomy main section with two side pockets for water bottles and two front pockets for keys, cell phone, etc. I wasn't expecting a bag so inexpensive to be not only useful but comfortable. Strongly recommend for those long walks!

This light weight day pack is just what I was looking for. It has the capacity to hold a lot (35L) if necessary, but I will probably keep it light. Sometimes clothing is light weight but bulky and this will be great for the beach or picnic. Also, out traveling or shopping, you never know what you might find, and you actually have the room to stuff it ;) Taking mine on my first overseas trip!

Love this backpack. So handy to be able to fold it up and carry until it's needed. Very lightweight and I worried it would be cheaply made but I've gone hiking several times and had no issues. It did come to be with one of the straps threaded wrong but that's an easy thing to fix.

Got for my son and family. They go hiking apt. Perfect for snacks and water etc. they have a 3 year old.

This is perfect for vacation. When you have too much to put in a purse but want hands free.....

Great pack to use in multiple ways: day hiking, bike riding, grocery shopping, etc. Because of its roomy interior, one must remember not to fill it so full that it becomes uncomfortable to carry/heavy!!!

Perfect for my trip to Europe as a day pack and I can fold up and put it away in my luggage till I need it.
