I got the dark red roses, and the color was beautiful. The flower heads do look pretty realistic--not like silk flowers (these are craft foam). They hold their shape well and should last for a long time. The stems are wired, so you can shape or wrap or attach them to things. However, the stems don't look like real flower stems because of how thin they are, and although leaves are included with this set of flowers, there are only 10 sets of leaves for 30 flowers. I did put some roses in vases for my event with other flowers (so the skinny stems weren't so noticeable), and other roses I just used the flower heads for to craft Valentine hearts. The best feature of these is the flower heads themselves, and I can imagine tons of craft and decorating ideas for them! Floral crowns, corsages, boutonnieres, filling out bouquets, attaching to ivy garlands, rose topiaries, wreaths, floating them in a bowl of water with candles, table scatter, kissing balls, gluing to headbands, etc., etc....
