Like A Sky Strewn With Stars
Anne Hillman's 'Awakening the Energies of Love: Discovering Fire For The Second Time' has been a nourishing and profound companion over the last few months. Throughout the book, Anne's journey and awakening become our own. Over the time that I slowly read and cherished this book, I found myself wanting to to write down or highlight quotes so I could come back to them and share them. Awakening the Energies of Love is like a clear night sky strewn with countless stars, each of which we can hold, contemplate and take within ourselves. It is a book I will come back to again and again.

An extraordinary read!
This is more than a book. It's a transmission of love and awakening. The open mind and heart will receive the seeds of those energies, along with wonderful, practical guidance for growing them to fruition. Anne Hillman is wise and comprehensive in her approach, clearly embodying a grounded spirit of awakening that she envisions for the reader. I will return to this book often – as a treasure trove which, once read, can be opened at random for gems of support and inspiration.

Grounded Wisdom!
We are using Anne Hillman's book as a part of our 8 month series on Teilhard de Chardin at our spirituality center. It is a very rich treasure. Such warm and trustworthy wisdom throughout the book. I am a spiritual director as well as a retreat facilitator and am being so well served by using this book for personal reflection. For a few months now I have also been reading it together with a treasured friend who is quite ill and not able to leave her home. We are finding sharing this book so very life giving. I highly recommend it!

A deeply spiritual and inspiring book for anyone on a sacred journey!
Anne's book is one of the most important books of our time. She brings forth a question for us individually. "Can we answer the call to love and actually harness the Fire of Love?" Her invitation to awaken with wisdom of the great minds of philosopher Thomas Berry, and Thomas Merton helps bring us clarity of the the human condition and our journey into the sacred with our soul longing for itself. Inspired by French philosopher Teilhard de Chardin, Anne is a meaningful teacher, a rare mentor and ancient wisdom keeper.

Excellent book, a very human presentation of being called to live fully from energies seldom thought about. Practical helps to settle into Soul. I have seldom read a book so slowly from within a deep silence. Thankyou.

I find it a beautiful, precious
This book has a special place on my shelf since it first came out. I find it a beautiful, precious, inspiring volume. As I read and reread it, I linger on the art prints included as they open me to deeper reflection. Hilman has a gift for leading the reader through locked doors and forgotten dreams.
