GMB 135-1500 OE Replacement Water Pump with Gasket
T**D
Simple and Easy
My OEM Honda Accord water pump began making bearing noise squeaks and rumblings after 12 years (bragging--not complaining), Amazon and GMB to the rescue! I watched a few YouTube videos to understand what to do and in what order, got the new pump and got to work. Yes, you must remove the serpentine belt first and swing the power steering reservoir up out of the way--NO--you do not need to remove the power steering pump! I did remove and replace the belt tensioner pulley as it was worn out ($15 part). I had to jack up the front right wheel and remove the tire and part of the wheel well cover. It went well and fast!

Easy install
I just now install it. I decided to install a new belt so i installed this also since i was already removing the idler pulley also. So far its working probably and was easy to install. Hopefully it last

Perfect oem replacement
Perfect fit and great cost value vs local part storeRecently had to replace a noisy pump on it way out. New one works great , smooth and quiet.

Fits 2003 Accord
2003 Accord. Went on easy after removing the surrounding accessories. A couple bolts must be removed/installed from underneath but not too bad to access. The alternator must be removed. I suggest go ahead and do the belt and idler, that is what I did.

Fit perfect. Make sure you have sealant to hold the gasket in place when installing. Sealant isn't required, but you can't hardly get the pump in with gasket in place without it.
