These are perfect for wearing over a footie pajama in the winter, or over a short sleeve onesie in the summer (depending on your home temp, obviously). I’ve bought these in multiple colors, and transitioned from the swaddle version to the sleep sack. The only reason for 4 stars is because some of them have a double zipper, and some of them have a top-down zipper. I will only use the double zipper ones, and since the description doesn’t tell you which colors have what, it’s just luck of the draw. This should be updated on Amazon so people aren’t wasting their time.

Our baby started rolling over and this kept their arms out but legs in. Perfect since he’s a belly sleeper. Bought 2 other print styles !

We have been using HALO SleepSacks for the last 7 1/2 months. I love that I can give my baby a "blanket" without worrying that he will put it over his head and suffocate - I AM A WORRIER. We started with the Newborn size with the optional swaddle. My baby hated to be swaddled so we never used that function and rather just wrapped it around his belly (see directions). We then went to the Small size and that also had the swaddle flaps. So now that we are in the Medium size it is a little different to get used to it being free to move around (as opposed to having almost a thick belt that held the bulk down). My baby is much more wiggly now so this gets wrapped around him in awkward ways (around a foot, or somehow twisted one way at the top and another at the bottom). I do however love this product because I know my baby will be warm and not in danger from a blanket. Additionally, the cotton material is light weight and has become useful when it is chilly but not cold. I have also found that the sizing is fairly accurate.I would recommend this product to any new parent!

Okay! So I’m in LOVE!! Transitioning from the swaddle over to this sleep slack, at first I didn’t see it happening. BUT I am so glad we went for it. Transition was perfect! Super soft, cozy, breathable and LIGHTWEIGHT! We’ve got my son into his routine that when he sees his sleep sack being pulled out. He know it’s either Nap time or Night Night Time. Sleeps through the night and I’m not worried that he’s going to sweat through it. Loved it so much I bought more !
