This is a great quality cedar swing. It was pretty easy to put together. Took about an hour. Finished it with an oil based cedar tone stain and it looks great. I called lakeland mills to replace an arm that was "rough" due to the nature of the finish and cut and the part was sent right away without and fuss. Great product from a good American company.**update**I am updating my review since I had ordered another exact set from Lakeland Mills which was delivered and I assembled yesterday. I am sad to say that the A frame material used has diminished in quality. The full rounded cross beam supports of the last years swing is now reduced to half rounds I typically saw on cheaper sets and even the main beam compared to my other swing measured less in width. Guess cost cutting is affecting us all. The main swing/chairs are still of the same quality.**latest update**Since my last update I have since spoken to Lakeland Mills and they have addressed the issue of some parts that were not up to par. They mentioned that most sets are sent with the half round supports which is determined by what supply of wood they receive. I am happy to say that within 2 days replacement parts were received. Great customer service!!

Wonderful addition to our backyard patio. Sturdy, solidly built, all parts fit together (be sure to follow instructions)We kind of guessed a couple of times and wasted an hour correcting our self-confidence. But everything was in the boxes and fit together, took about 3 hours to fully assemble. Sealed and stained it with Valspar clear stain/sealer and looks like a rustic cedar addition to our backyard. Will definitely return to this supplier when we need more. rustic cedar furniture. Ordered on a Sunday, received on Wednesday, assembled on Saturday stained/sealed on Sunday(in 2 sections and set up on Monday.Manufacturer and Supplier were helpful and responsive to questions and providing information on assembly and choice of clear coating.Wife is so proud of it, and we use on most days it does not rain. Adapted table in middle by drilling thru the the the cup holder area and inserting plastic cup holders (small drill holes in bottom to drain rain water) ..

Personal use

The swing was nicer than expected. It provides just what I wanted from a swing. I love that you can bring you drinks and have a built in holder right next to you. Easy for my husband to assemble. I just wish I had more time to spend on my swing.

It does not state that the A frame comes separate from the swing, which is false advertisement. Had to pay additional money for the A frame, that is so wrong very disappointed.

Purchased for my wife for mothers day. Took about 1 1/2 hrs to assemble by myself. Instructions were very easy to follow. Noticed the price has gone up about $30 after I purchased for some reason. We had been looking for an outdoor wooden swing locally for quite some time but was never quite satisfied with the few we found. Wife loves her present we sit and swing just about everyday. If you are looking for a nice outdoor swingset I would suggest purchasing one from Lakeland Mills. Very good quality and looks like it should last for years. Alot better than those cheap metal swings. We've owned about 2 and they never last more than a couple years before rusting and falling apart.

I have ordered products from this company in the past and I LOVE them! My last swing lasted for almost 20 yrs and only broke when my grandson (9) jumped onto it from a full run. And then it was only the seat that broke. I have not assembled this one yet as it is middle of winter and the snow is too deep to get it to its designated site.

Relatively easy to assemble, sturdy yet comfortable, nice smooth swinging motion!
