This review is for a small HEPA UVC air purifier. Design/quality This air purifier uses a HEPA 13 filter. It is made from sturdy rigid off white plastic, it is minimalist in design so would fit into any modern decorating scheme as it is quite unobtrusive. Size This machine is small in size measuring just 16.4 cm height x 8/5 cm width and depth. In use This small machine certainly helps to keep the air fresh inside somewhere small such as a car or a very small room. It has enough power to filter pollen and roadside dust from the inside of a car, this is great news for hayfever sufferers. There are three modes of operation ... low, medium or high. The HEPA 13 filter is very good with excellent filtration properties, the only problem is the small size of the unit which renders it virtually useless in an area any bigger than a car or very small bathroom/toilet. I like ** It's very economical to run being A++ in energy efficiency. ** The machine is quiet when it's running. ** As it works using a USB cable it is very portable and can pretty much be used anywhere. ** This purifier works well to remove impurities from inside a car ... pollen, dust and even cigarette smoke. This makes it good for travelling. I dislike ** Doesn't come with a suitable USB plug. ** The filters will have to be replaced regularly and at £15 for three they are not particularly cheap ** This unit is very limited in the size of area that it can purify. I do wish the manufacturers of products would take the trouble to write the instruction suitable for the country that the devices are being sold in. This UVC LED HEPA air Purifier has part of the instructions for electric sockets that we do not usually use in the UK so the warnings about which sockets to use or avoid are meaningless as we in the UK don’t use either type. I just assume that we use a suitable USB outlet in the car etc and an ordinary 13 amp plug with a USB connection. The unit itself does feel quite fragile and I am not sure that the case would survive a drop from height onto a solid floor. The removeable filter was a bit of a tight squeeze into its oblong housing but that could mean that it is performing a good seal and not letting any air bypass the filter. There is no information about the life span of the filter except for a 6-month pictogram. However, this does not really help as surely this needs to be related to some kind of average daily use. In the car the noise from the fan is audible but not a distraction due to other road noises but in a quiet room the noise is a bit annoying especially on max setting when trying to read etc. The real usefulness depends on whether it does a good job etc. My missus suffers from dry eyes and is often using eye drops. This UVC LED HEPA air Purifier has not made a noticeable difference. Maybe it will work better for people without such a severe condition.

Could not tell any different even after it been on for 2 hours. The on/off button was temperamental, only worked when my daughter did it, I could not get it to work, maybe a switch would have made it simpler to work. Would not recommend at all, total waste of money.

Ho comprato questo purificatore per l'utilizzo in auto,attaccandolo alla presa USB. La dimensione contenuta, è perfetta per inserirlo nelle aperture destinate ai "cestini' nella console centrale. Da quando lo uso,ho effettivamente ho zero polvere sul cruscotto e noto quasi assenza totale di cattivi odori nell'abitacolo. Rumorosità più che accettabile anche alla massima potenza(livello 3). Francamente non lo userei mai per usarlo in casa..la potenza è talmente bassa,che impiegherebbe una vita per purificare l'aria di una stanza: la dimensione contenuta dell'abitacolo auto, è invece adatta alla sua capacità di filtrazione.

Wir besitzen einen To-Go-Luftreiniger (ein mobiler, kleiner Luftfilter, der einem virenfreie Luft ins Gesicht sprudelt - als zusätzlicher Schutz in Risikosituationen) und suchten nach einer preisgünstigeren Alternative, um sie einem Schulkind mitgeben zu können. Nach längerer Suche stieß ich auf diesen Filter von Ledvance, der sogar über einen Hepa-Filter und UVC (im Innern des Gerätes, eins kommt nicht damit in Kontakt) verfügt. Also ein doppeltes System. Auf der Hersteller-Homepage gibt es ausführlichere Infos und Schaubilder zur Funktionsweise, die sich für mich überzeugend lasen. Der Luftreiniger ist relativ klein und leicht (sogar leichter als der To-Go-Filter), verfügt allerdings über keinen Akku. Deswegen hängt er bei uns an einer Mini-Powerbank. Beides lässt sich problemlos und platzsparend in einer Außentasche des Schulrucksacks verstauen. Auch der Preis ist hier sehr gut. Ich habe Ende 2023 mehrere Filter für 13 € das Stück bekommen, die derzeitigen 20 € sind aber immer noch äußerst günstig. Nein, ich konnte keine Daten vergleichen, der Luftstrom schien mir bei beiden Geräten ähnlich und bisher hat diese zusätzliche "Käsescheibe" an Schutz zumindest so weit geholfen, dass das Kind in den kälteren Monaten trotz geschlossener Fenster, vieler kranker Kinder und eingemotteter schulischer Luftfilter in Ruhe seine Mahlzeiten einnehmen konnte ohne sich direkt mit Covid anzustecken. Hoffen wir, dass es so bleibt. Aus subjektiver Sicht ist der kleine Filter für uns empfehlenswert.

Nos ha llegado esta cajita mágica, que siempre que la uso me pregunto.. realmente enciende la luz que dice encender?? Se trata de una caja para poder desinfectar aquello elemento que metamos dentro, desde llaves, mascarillas, móviles, etc etc siempre y cuando quepa dentro. Se basa en el hecho de que al cerrar la cajita se enciende una luz ultravioleta durante unos 6 minutos o 9 minutos, según seleccionemos acabando con toda vida microbiana en su interior. Sera eso verdad lo de la luz uv? pues si es verdad, y lo digo porque nosotros montamos este tipo de lámparas para desinfectar aguas, en vez de hacerlo con cloro, ya que hay gente (sobre todo extranjeros) que tienen cierta fobia al cloro como potabilizador de agua y buscan una alternativa como es esta de desinfección por luz ultravioleta. Por supuesto hacer esto implica hacer una compleja instalación pero hasta hoy a ningún cliente se le ha presentado una diarrea por agua infectada, por tanto la luz uv es realmente efectiva como biocida. En este caso la cuestión que siempre me pregunto es se encenderá los leds cuando cierro la cajita? es la misma pregunta que mucha gente se hace de si se apaga la luz cuando cerramos la nevera. Verlo es sencillo, se deja pulsado el interruptor con un destornillador o un palillo de dientes y vemos si es asi o no, aunque en las instrucciones dice que no se haga... lo que pasa que uno es muy curioso. Y si, si se encienden aunque sinceramente nesperaba una intensidad mayor ya que la luz que da es muy tenue, aunque entiendo que el espectro de luz en esa longitud de onda no es visible al ojo humano. Pero hay que tener cuidado con eso, motivo por el cual tiene ese interruptor de seguridad, y es que la luz uv en esa longitud de onda es peligrosa, al ser cancerígena, al menos si uno esta expuesto durante bastante tiempo. Aunque las instrucciones no lo digan, imagino que para protegerse en caso de demandas, no cita los coronavirus ni la influenza ni otros virus que sea eliminado por esta lamparita, y si da una lista de determinadas bacterias muy frecuentes en nuestro entorno que son eliminadas desde la escherichia coli, la candidiasis albicans o el stafilococo aureus, pero sabemos perfectamente que esta radiación lumínica destruye el genoma tanto de hongos, bacterias, protozoos y virus. Nosotros la tenemos puesta en la entrada de la casa y tras retirarnos las mascarillas las dejamos allí 9 minutos. Con ello nos aseguramos que destruimos todos vestigio de vida en ellas, ya que no olvidemos que una mascarilla si se usa en exceso, la misma humedad de nuestra respiración es un caldo de cultivo para la vida microbiana. Puede funcionar a red o con una batería interior que tiene, que permite hasta 16 desinfecciones de 9 minutos por carga A nosotros nos ha gustado mucho y sinceramente recomendamos este tipo de equipos sea de esta marca o de otra.
