This item is large and very sturdy. My cat has become a gymnast on this item. She swings between the limbs and hangs from them And it has not come near toppling. She stands on the top of it as you can see and climbs up it as well as jumps from the ground level landing on the cactus limbs or if she misses she grabs hold and pulls herself the rest of the way up and this cactus is so sturdy it does not move! I had trouble getting her to play with it the first two days but then simply used one of her chase toys around it to bring her attention to it after that it was a go! She uses it regularly as her scratching board as well as her exerciser jumping and swinging from it! this was well worth the money! we have had it for several weeks now and the ball is still attached and so are the flowers! I absolutely love this and I'm so glad I purchased it for her!

It’s cute, the color and coverings are nice, the base and middle post feel pretty sturdy. The cactus arms are just filled with poly fiberfill like plushies, and nothing but the fabric shape is holding them up so one is already sagging from the weight. Maybe I’ll sew some yarn supports to the top of the arms so they can’t sag.The santa hat idea on top is a little weird, but it doesn’t have to be put on. The top of the cactus was finished and look good without the hat, but the whole thing is really only over 24” without it. It probably doesn’t add much utility anyway since it’s also just a fiberfill hat shaped plushie. I think it’s worth the $17 I paid.

This is not just cute but it serves a purpose. The cat loves it and I enjoy the fun it brings in the family room. Get this for your cat or as a gift for someone who has a cat! And the Christmas cap can be removed if your really don't want it on Jan-Nov :)

Me gusto mucho su tamaño, no lo podia creer. tanto por un precio tan económico. cuando vi la caja donde venia me asuste un poco, pero al sacar las partes y ver el manual y sentir lo fácil que fue armarlo sentí mucha alegría.Luego que mi gata lo vio y salió corriendo a rascarse supe que era el regalo perfecto.hasta hoy cada rato sale y se rasca, a veces lo abraza y siempre deja du ratón de juguete en su base. Lo compraría de nuevo.

Too soon to know how well this will hold up with my cats, but it sure is cute. I wish it was a little sturdier on the top, but will see how that holds up over time. I love the little Santa hat. It would be fun to have other hats available to switch it up. My kids won't let me keep the Santa hat on the cactus year round. lol.

I had a similar product, but my cat (and foster cat) have destroyed it with regular use. I found that this product was about hte same cost but much larger, much to the happiness of the cats. It was well packaged, shipped quickly, and was easy to assemble. I am very pleased and will buy another when the time comes

Sadly, this isn’t the greatest post because my pet peeve is that the sisal should have gone from top to bottom. My cats are large and there was only a short space where the scratchable material was for them to scratch. The softer material on top that made the cactus was a waste of material. They could have been using all that space for scratching too. My boys scratched a whole straight through and it broke today. If the sisal (scratching part) went from top to bottom, it would have lasted longer for them. So disappointed. (Another thing is, I needed to weights on it the whole time so it wouldn’t tip over when they scratch.) Wouldn’t buy again. :(
