LUCKYPAW Dog Muzzle, Soft Duck Silicone Mouth Cover with Adjustable Strap for Small Medium Dogs, Best to Prevent Barking, Biting, and Chewing(Yellow,S)

I bought this muzzle because my Whippet puppy, who is 20lbs when writing this, was literately eating anything in the yard that he could get his mouth on. Leaves, sticks, bark, dirt, rocks, rabbit droppings, etc. It was a tremendous battle trying to clear his mouth over and over again. He would actually chew up and swallow what he could, which made us quite nervous. So, I measured his muzzle and ordered this muzzle. It's a soft silicone, which is unique among muzzles, and quite cute on him. It looks like a little pig snout on him and he actually routes around on the ground with it like a pig would. Some stuff manages to get through the opening on the end, due to the holes, but it's not much. We can let him run free in our fenced back yard now. To get him used to wearing it, I slowly introduced it to him. Putting it on for just a minute, and then taking it off. I did that over and over, during the coarse of a day, increasing the time slightly. He managed to get it off at first, but looping the strap under his collar, solved that problem. Now, when I pull out the muzzle, he runs over and sticks his snout inside all on his own. He associates the muzzle with going outside and having fun, so it's a win win. I'm going to buy the XL for when he outgrows this size.

The best muzzle so far (others I bought before were not good). It’s good for training for anti-bark and it makes him to shut his mouth (16.8lb small dog- doodle with long snout). If he had this one, he was only able to bark as quiet “woof woof”.Purchased the small size. His measurement was 5.5inches, 2.3 inches (2.3 inches in snout length) and the small size was the great fit (see the pictures).Will continue to buy this if i need additional one for this dog. But, since it is silicone based, I think it is really good for long term use unless they destroy the muzzle.

Our dog was able to pull it off within minutes since the silicone is slightly stretchy. Returned easily enough.2 stars for hilarious design. "You're going to ACT like a fool and threaten to bite, we're going to make you LOOK like a fool too."

I have a dog that was muzzle-trained on the Baskerville muzzles and a more restricting cloth muzzle because she’s reactive to other dogs. I realized that when she has the muzzle on, she’s more comfortable when there are other dogs in her environment and she’s less reactive to them!Because I use the muzzle on a semi-regular basis, I wanted to get one that was more friendly-looking to try and decrease the amount of questions I get from other people when I’m out! I chose this muzzle for those occasions to have her wear while still having the Baskerville muzzle in case of any emergencies!This muzzle is quite soft to the touch but is still sturdy when the dog is wearing it. Due to the material and flexible fit, my dog is able to comfortably pant and lick her snout when needed! I would NOT recommend this product for dogs that are aggressive when reactive because of this flexibility—for safety, I would use a plastic or leather muzzle. However, this product is good for preventing dogs from eating things off the ground! For those reasons and my use case, I would give this product a 4.5 rating if I could—but I have rounded up to 5.The customer support is also amazing for this product and they also let me switch out the size since I was concerned about having a proper fit. All in all, this is a good product for light muzzling of your dog!

My 15lb dog needed the Large. In reality I don't know if the new larger, Large, replacement will fit yet. My dogs muzzle circumference is 7 1/4" so hopefully the 7.8"(who measures imperial measurements in .8 inches) and who knows if the head strap length will fit or if the adjustments are limited and it's to loose. I don't feel like the sizing chart is clear enough but maybe I'm expecting to much.Now as for the Chinese made muzzle itself, it is very well made and the materials seem to be all in high quality and should last the lifetime of my pet. At $16 it is on the pricey side and I would say you are getting what you pay for.Maxlyn included some literature asking to contact them first so they can make things right but they also state that they will get back to you in 24hrs. Unfortunately, 24 hrs in e-commerce is like a lifetime, you know how many competitors want your money, it just isn't as fast as canceling and putting in another order with Amazon and having it at my door in less than 24 hrs. You get one chance at first impressions, as an online consumer I feel giving the company a second chance is a big deal. At only 3 ratings I'd think you'd take things seriously otherwise why waste your time in this business.

We have 3 Doxies and they are wonderful but their nicknames are "Barky Babies!!" One is my Grand puppy!! She is the one who barks the most! We have tried everything except for harsh bark collars. Nothing worked! I ordered 1 primarily for her. Got it yesterday. Of course it was new and she wasn't quite happy at first. Now after 24 hours she will come to me to put it on. So soft and easyto put on! I was surprised but very happy. I just ordered 2 more. Thanks so much!!

Super cute and good material, but runs way too small. My 25lb pup is sporting an XL and he’s nearly outgrown it. Need to make much larger versions for medium and large breeds.

My dog will eat literally anything. It’s something that has landed her in emergency surgery in the past. It’s toughest on walks where she’ll randomly lunge at things on the floor and eat them in less time than it takes us to notice there was something there. This has stopped that behavior. She throws a little tantrum every time we put it on her but after a while she’ll forget and enjoy her walk like always. All in all, I’m pretty pleased with this purchase.

Muzzle works great for our dog which is medium sized, about 30 lbs. Especially his mix of put bull and Boston terrier most people are afraid of him, even if he is pretty small build. This muzzle makes him look menancing to people and kids. Where as the other muzzles make them look like do not touch. We didn't buy him this muzzle because he bites, in fact he is a marshmallow. But this does work!

Bought the smallest size and still a bit too big for my chihuahua. She also is able to get it off unless she’s wearing it very tight. Bought so that she couldn’t bite me when cutting her nails and for that it works. However if anyones interested since she knows she can’t bite me now she just thrashes around because she doesn’t want her nails cut so bad. Anybody know a good groomer?? Hahahaha
