Installed a wall shoe rack. Follow instructions carefully, keeping in mind that there are different size pipes. It is beautiful and sturdy when assembled, and installed. Holds a ton of shoes on the 5 shelves. Very happy.

My husband and I installed these together. We are pretty handy (built our own house and have every tool under the sun). They were some work to put in but are worth it. It really maximized the space. These are solidly built shelves! I have a ton of books and planned on loading them to max capacity so we bought sturdier wall anchors (75lbs each) and added framing in the ceiling so that each bar was bolted into the wall and could support 200 lbs. My husband was hanging off of them. Note that it takes 20 wall anchors per bar so this was a bit of an investment. These were hard to get straight. We laid them on the floor and aligned each bar to be parallel by stabilizing them and torquing them where they needed to be. This took some force on a few of the bars. We mounted them with a laser level, screwed them in, then pulled them all out and put wall anchors in each hole and remounted them. If you are willing to take the time to do this right you will love these shelves. So many things are cheap and breakable now days. These get a 5 for being well made. I plan on never having to replace or fix them.

Well, I was a bit intimidated when I unpacked the box. I finally pulled up the instructions on Amazon in the pictures of the unit. THEN I understood how to do it. I separated all the parts like it said to do and followed the instructions. They did not line up tight exactly how they should have, but tight enough until I get it installed. I will be purchasing better Molly's, and longer screws before assembling to my walls. It's going in my pantry. 2" x 12" x 28.5" boards stained in walnut will be going on them.

We’ve used these pipe shelves for three separate projects—a set of sturdy bookshelves, shelving for children's toys in a bedroom, and an entertainment shelving unit. In each case, they’ve looked fantastic and have held up really well. The installation process is simple and straightforward, which makes them an accessible option for DIY enthusiasts. I know they have helped us to save SO much space in our home while giving it some extra personality. The only issue we’ve encountered was with one pack missing some of the pieces needed to secure the shelving to the pipes. Unfortunately, we didn’t discover this until we were mid-project, so we had to improvise a solution. Despite that hiccup, the overall quality and design have impressed us, and I’d still recommend these shelves for nearly any project—they’re versatile, stylish, and functional

These are heavy, sturdy, and when I say a 250lbs man pulled himself up holding these, this is true. Install these right and they are amazing. They look great. If you expect to throw it together and not put in the work, this is not for you. It takes some beginning learning curves but once you understand, you can build anything you want to, basically any way you want to. At $66 this was a GREAT value! I was SO impressed. I hope supply & demand keeps the price low because the higher price one is NOT as nice as these. There are more reviews but not near as nice and the other brand was returned. Also, if you think you are going to threat s pipe all the way and it’s going to be perfect your wrong, but once it’s on the wall it’s golden. It’s going no where. A level is a MUST! Don’t start this project without one. 5+ Stars. I hardly write any reviews.

The rods are sturdy, but they don’t line up to be able to use as pictures. So I had to essentially only use half of the kit to create floating shelves.

These are a great option for pipe shelving with out the expensive costs. There not really the black pipe from hardware store, or as heavy duty as the black pipe. There painted black and lighter duty but works for shelving. Mounts to the ceiling, floor and walls to make them extra sturdy black pipe connection do fit to make it more custom. Like so much bought a 2nd one.

Very happy with the result. Stained my own wood to make the shelves, but you could buy your own off the shelf. Huge selling point that you can adjust the spacing or add more pipes depending upon how you want to shape the shelves to fit your space. Worked well on a wall that wasn't very level. The trick is to loosen the connections so they tilt a bit and follow the curvature of the wall. The pipes can hold a decent amount of weight, and the fact that all the shelves are attached together by the pipe helps to distribute it. The pipes look like iron but are actually steel with a black finish, in case that wasn't obvious. Not a complaint because they're much lighter and still strong, but don't abuse them because you can break them if you try hard enough to bend them with your hands. Once mounted they are strong though; I could probably do pull-ups on them (though I'm not going to tempt fate :-P). The style of shelf is good for making smaller spaces seem bigger. You can mount the shelves with a bit of a gap from the wall which adds a sense of depth and creates a feeling of a more open space.

I was having a hard time finding something to fit the space I wanted well still maximizing storage area, and was contemplating building something custom. Then this item came up somehow and I am so happy for it. Not only was it cheaper then building my own from scratch but it is VERY study due to the mounting of each pipe to the wall and the additional braces for under each of the shelves. It also offers a lot of customization options to use in the way that best suites your needs/the space. The way I built it, I could not use full 12" boards for the shelves, it was more like 10 1/4", so I would recommend putting together the way you want and measuring before going straight for the 12" shelves like it shows in one pic on the item's page. Very happy how it turned out.

The metal in the pipes in this kit is very solid, and once screwed together the unit is very sturdy. But, the instructions don't show there are 3 different sizes of pipe, one is only 1" smaller than the other, so it's not immediately obvious and this caused some confusion. The threading of the connections is solid, but not machined to a consistent depth. Because all of the T fittings and elbows need to face the same direction, the fact that they hit the end of the threads at some random orientation is a bit frustrating. It can be sorted by mixing and matching tubes and fittings until they align, but it's a bit time consuming. Note that you get about 1/2 a turn under force out of the joint after it is hand tight, so when you are testing orientations keep that in mind. The threads are not tapered like gas pipe, so they hit a hard bottom. Lastly, the holes are not tapped at 90 degrees in all cases, which means you have to bend the unit a bit to get all the verticals parallel to one another, and all the shelves horizontal. None of this is the end of the world, and for the price the unit is far cheaper than buying black gas pipe, it just needs a bit of work. The powder coating is also very nice.

Once installed they look phenomenal! The installation directions are abysmal.

Because the parts can be tightened but you have to align the shelves you cannot tighten them all the rotations that are needed to keep it secure. So the stand becomes unstable. You then have to try and attachments it to the wall and the screws are too big for the wall plugs therefore when you put it in the wall the screw gets stuck half way in the plug therefore you cannot attach the stand to the wall. Total disappointment.
