Re you kidding? How could any Saint fan NOT like this album? Is it Symbol of Salvation? No, but I'd say it's just as good. The first three tracks are trip-hammer blows. Get off the Fence is good, not great, but still a good, solid track. Chilled is excellent, a more thoughtful track and then we get the title track which has such a tight, in the pocket groove. Black Feet and Blues have some of the same feel to them, smooth movers with different parts to them. Great tracks both. Little Monkey burns rubber right out of the gate and Bandit Country slams in with some of that energy and an epic chorus. Most of these tracks hang with the best of the Saint catalog. Bush's voice is so strong on this, growling, rich and emotional. I will never understand why Saint fans dump on this album.

Not a bad album but just didnt have the firepower im used to with saint.

Bush is of course an amazing singer. There were some real well crafted songs, but in some other cases they sounded a little too generic. I also was generally not a fan of some of the guitar solos, they sounded aimless.

Wow!!! This album was more than I expected. First off it is a bit different than the Armored Saint I was expecting but this is not a bad thing. They seem to have been rejuvenated. Might I add that it is also to great to hear Bush's pipes again, it has been far to long. These guys delivered what I would call the best album yet by them. Vera's song writing talent never gets lazy and this is full on a great rock album. It just feels like they are pumping life back into you!

Bei allen ihren Scheiben haben AS nicht nach links und rechts geschaut, sondern stur ihr Ding durchgezogen, eigenständig und kraftvoll waren in Zusammenhang mit den gepanzerten Heiligen oft gebrauchte Adjektive. Daran hat sich nichts geändert, auch wenn sie heutzutage deutlich hardrockiger als früher zu Werke gehen. Nach etwas Eingewöhnung eine Scheibe, die man gern öfter in den Player legt, wenn man sie denn aus der Hülle bekommt.Die optisch völlig metalluntypische, aber sehr geschmackvolle Hülle ohne Zahnkranz ist ein absoluter Spasskiller. Die CD ohne Betatschen (mit den bekannten Spuren) heraus/herein zu bekommen ist wenigstens schwierig, wie die CD in einigen Jahren aussieht, kann man sich vorstellen. Schlimmer wird nur der Zustand der Hülle, schlimm genug wie normale Digipacks nach einiger Zeit aussehen, ohne die stabilisierende Plastiklage unterm Zahlkranz wird's richtig bitter. Wahrscheinlich Kalkül, damit dann willig ist, die Wiederveröffentlichung zu erstehen.

Diese Platte ist TOP.John Bush in seinem Element. Wie bei Anthrax ist er mit Leib und Seele dabei.Armored Saint sind zum Glück wieder vereint und geiler den je.

I appreciate the packaging that it came in to protect the case, but the c.d itself plays the first 6 songs goodexcept after that it skips repeatedly, it's no good to me.
