TomTom VIA 1415M 4-Inch GPS with Lifetime Map Updates

I love this GPS. Very easy to use and accurate navigation. Also love the lifetime maps. Takes a long time to update though. About 2 hours.

I really like the user interface on this device. I use a lot of favorites. I find it easy to manage my favorites. Saving and navigating to my favorites is also easy. I like the way my favorites are presented in alphabetic order. But on the downside, the unit takes minutes, sometimes 3, to acquire a gps signal when the unit is turned on. Also, I've had trouble with the unit losing its gps signal while driving. It is the gps signal problems that have driven my decision to replace this device.

Simple to use, simply to update. Mount leaves a lot to be desired. A good little GPS as always from TomTom

I bought this for my GF who moved back home to Texas. She is a reporter and needs to be all over the area at all times, and was relying on her phone maps for guidance. This was causing all sorts of data overages. Picked this up for a great price for her, and she absolutely loves it.Only negative point is that it took almost a week for my order to actually process and the money be taken from my account. But once that was done, shipping was fast and the product is great. Other than the ordering stuff, 5/5 for the product itself.

We need these for work but honestly they could be way better. Traffic updates are never accurate and you need to purchase the special charging/traffic update power cord to get any kind of accurate warnings. Would be better off with google maps but our drivers can not use phones while driving.

When purchased stated lifetime map updates. Just received a message that future map updates are no longer compatible with my unit. So I guess Tom Toms view of lifetime is six years. Poor. GPS otherwise works fine. So much for saving the planet with all this obsolete junk that ends up in the landfills.

It may be an older model and smaller screen, but for the money... it is worth it! Just keep it updated and it’ll get you to where you need to go.

Cannot get this thing to stay connected to the computer long enough for it to update. Pretty useless as a navigation device, if you can't update it to have the most up to date map information. Good luck with support from TomTom. Also, I found out that my device had already been registered to another account, meaning that it was not new. Shame on the seller for publishing misleading information.
