Venustas Women's Heated Jacket with Battery Pack 5V, Heated Coat with Detachable Hood Windproof

I love this coat! I commute by bus, which means months of mornings and evenings waiting around in the rain and cold. I have multiple parkas, but if I'm already cold when I put one on, it takes forever for me to finally warm up.A friend told me about heated coats, so I figured I'd give this one a try, and I'm so glad it did! It's incredibly easy to use, heats up in minutes, is totally waterproof, and makes me feel like my torso is on vacation in the tropics while I'm waiting for the bus.There aren't any heating panels in the arms, but the body of the coat gets warm enough that the rest of you is fine.One recommendation: order a size down from what you usually wear. I ordered my usual size large, and will likely be exchanging it for a medium. There's so much extra room that I have to wrap the coat tighter so the heating panels can do their jobs effectively.Other than the generous sizing, though, this coat is perfect. I highly recommend it.

UPDATE!!!!This is a gift for my wife for xmas. She has been asking for a heated jacket for several years now. So I bought this one. I got it in the mail today, and opened it up to check it out and charge the battery up for when she opens it. Guess what...NO BATTERY PACK! Also missing is the charging cord. I have a USB type adapter and the piece that plugs into the wall, but no cord to connect them. The coat looks fabulous, but without the battery pack, it's not that special. I sent off an email notifying the seller of the problem. I guess now I wait. Hopefully they can rectify the situation asap (before we exchange gifts). If that happens, I will gladly update this review to more accurately reflect the product. But for now...I have a plain black jacket. Disappointed!!!Update:After sending an email notifying them I didn't receive the battery pack...it was sent to me within a few days. They corrected it with a very fast response. My wife opened it for Christmas and loves it. Easy to operate and keeps her warm. It was her favorite present. Only worn it a couple times and has yet to wear it in extreme conditions. Looks great and fits right.

I'm quite impressed with this purchase. The coat is extremely thick and durable. Comes in a waterproof zipper bag for storage. Digital display of battery life and while charging. Two USB , micro usb and type C plugins on battery pack. There is a square plastic logo button on front left chest you press to turn the jacket on. Inside jacket is the pocket the battery goes in. You will find the cable inside the pocket that connects the jacket to the battery pack. The button on jacket turns red when turned on. Placed my hands in pockets and can feel the warmth. Takes 5 minutes roughly to heat up. So,very happy with this purchase.

Cute coat with warming option. Very thin, and very small compared to other similar items.~Had to send back for a larger size~& item was no longer in stock!*Ordered a completely different coat altogether, because it was no longer available! HOWEVER;**Would have re-purchased this exact item again** but definitely in ONE SIZE LARGER "than normal!" **Bought in a size small for height woman with height of 5'2/5'3, & weight 125-135 lbs.*Needed AT LEAST a medium.~Arm length and coat width were too short & too tight!~

This is a great jacket good quality materialJust if you order the “red” one it’s not a true red it’s more of a pinkish colorBut besides that it’s greatHood is removableHas a nice Vertical chest pocketMust buy you won’t be disappointedI also have the other model that is a bit more puffy and I love it as wellGreat products

Worked great until it didn't. After 8 months the connection to the power pack stopped working. Return status ended. Disappointed and annoyed that I wasted all of that money on a jacket that only "worked" for 8 months. HOWEVER, I re-read some of the reviews and took the advice of some customers. I contacted the seller and after a few emails back and forth, I was sent a brand new coat. Quite impressive! The coat is truly amazing. I am always cold and have to work outside sometimes. This coat is exactly what I need. I really am impressed that I was listened to even though the return period had ended!!!! FIVE STAR RATING for sure!!!!!

Bought this because I am always cold at soccer games in the fall. The jacket came in nice packaging and easy to follow instructions. It is of nice quality. The only disappointment I have is that it doesn’t get as warm as I expected. It does help take the edge of of chilly day, but not something I would wear when it’s 20 below in our cold minnesota winters. If you are just looking for a slight warm up for a chilly fall or spring day this will work. Just don’t expect it to be the answer to frigid temps. Also, I bought a medium. I am about 5’5” and 125lb. The medium fit fine, especially if you have something bulky underneath. I feel like the jacket might feel warmer if it’s closer to the body so sizing down might be a better choice.

The battery included with jacket AEWI not ventusas did not work, (charged fully), the extra battery ordered (Ventusas) does work as do batteries I already had for another jacket. I would like another working battery and would like to keep the jacket.
