Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Washed Duck Sherpa-Lined Mock-Neck Vest

I have been wanting a fleece lined vest for a long time. Now I have one. The material is soft and the fleece is plush. Outer pockets are also fleece lined. Handy map pocket the will hold a cell phone and 2 inside pockets. Delivered in perfect condition. Nice job Carhartt.

Medium Tall size purchased. 6'1" / 175 lbs. Inseam 34/35" so I'm a bit 'leggy'. This fits me perfectly. I farm, tractor, firewood, build, clear, and off-load at a local sawmill. This vest fits me right and doesn't get in the way.

Great quality but was kind of snug

Overall 4 stars, didn't give it 5 b/c of front main zipper. Carhartt zippers should be big and grabby, and easier to use like when wearing gloves. The main zipper is metal (good) but smaller sized and takes some finessing (cannot use gloves). Another slight gripe, side pockets should have zippers too but I knew vest didn't have them and it's not deal breaker. Despite zipper gripes, I love this vest. I will probably wear it until the fleece packs out which might be 10 years or so knowing Carhartts are overbuilt. I've worn with regular weight hoodie underneath in teen temps and keeps me warm. I'm 5'9" 225 lbs and size large fits perfectly. Amazon reviews asks if good for "working out"? This would not be suitable for "working out" unless workout involved chopping wood in sub freezing temps.

I’m a big fan of this vest. Just recently got into vests and especially love the versatility of this one. It is a bit on the heavier side, so I wouldn’t wear it out if the temp is any higher than 50 degrees F. A buddy at work complimented on it and was surprised by the price. I asked if I overspent on it, but no, he said he thought it would’ve been double the price!

This is a good looking vest for enjoying the outdoors, when you don’t need the bulk of sleeves getting in your way. Quality is good and keeps you warm. Only complaint is that while it is described as “Relaxed Fit”, it is much roomier than expected. I ordered my normal size and it is huge through the waist, even when sitting, and I’m not skinny. I assume it is designed for being seated on a tractor or in a vehicle. Next time I will purchase a size smaller.

I almost didn't buy this vest because of all the problems some seem to have had with the sizing. I'm a Carhartt fan and have various items from trousers, shorts, jackets, tee shirts etc. you get the idea. I'm a barrel chested man and I've always found XL fitted but I really wasn't sure if this vest would be too large. Well I needn't have worried because, like all the rest of my Carhartt stuff, XL fitted fine. The clue is in the name its "loose fit"! I have a Carhartt Arctic vest that is quilted inside and its meant to fit close to the body whereas this vest is meant to be loose fitting. Anyway mine fits great and I love it. Quality is almost guaranteed with Carhartt this is well made and will see me out. The only problem now is its May here in the UK so I won't get to wear it for at least another 5 months. But if you've had Carhartt before, I'd advise you to get your usual size and you should be OK. Highly recommended.

Purchased as a gift for my husband as he is often outside and I wanted him to have a durableOption that he wouldn’t be concerned about wearing while working or tending to a fire. It looks nice and is comfortable and well made.
