Ordered this oil after reading lots of positive reviews. Used the oil as directed on my beautiful wooden chopping board .... wow, what a difference, it brought the grain out really well and had a lovely sheen! I have to say it looks the best it’s ever looked even when new and given to me by a friend who is a joiner. We left the product on over 24 hours before buffing to a beautiful sheen. All the oil had absorbed into the wood, no sticky residue. The oil has a lovely light citrus smell. Very easy to use with brilliant results. Would definitely recommend this product. I love this product. This is my second bottle. Won't buy another brand now. The aroma on it is so beautiful, gentle orange scent, just gorgeous. My chopping boards look like new afterwards. I lather it on, ( I drizzle some on, then rub it in all over both sides and ends etc with my fingers) leave overnight, then wipe down next morning to remove any excess. I use it on all my wooden utensils too, spoons etc. Brings the wood back to life. They seem to 'drink' it in. Brilliant product. Highly recommended by me for sure.

This is a lovely wood oil and treatment for wooden bowls or articles made from wood. Sadly it did not get rid of the smell on a huge ornamental wooden carved bowl but will be fine for other things in the house. Very easy to use and the bottle will go a long way.

After reading previous reviews I decided to change the bottle to a glass one to avoid any spillages. The bottle it comes in isn’t the best but it’s not the end of the world! The oil itself has a nice smell and pretty easy to apply. For best results, leave overnight to dry and soak in the wood. I went round the house looking for wooden objects that just needed to be brightened as this oil did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this to others.

This oil is quickly absorbed into the wood, so I only need to leave it a couple of hours after applying and it's dry. I was applying it to oak chopping boards and it really turned out well. The oil is easy to apply, dries quickly and has no nasty smells. They say it has a citrus smell, but I didn't notice it. The wood immediately looks richer and better after applying and keeps that look as it dries. A quick buff over with a dry cloth and it shines beautifully.

Arrived intact, smells pleasant without being overpowering at all. Easy to use provided you take care. I oiled a selection of chopping boards and wooden utensils and all were usable after about 24 hours, after a wipe; the oil absorbed well, having been applied sparingly. Thinking of oiling a (new) kitchen stool to protect it from drips, but not sure I want to darken the colour.

I have only just started using this product on my chopping boards and oak worktops but I have found it to be excellent. It was a good price, was delivered in good time, is easy to apply and basically it does what you need it to do which is protect your wooden surfaces and keep them water resistant. I would buy this product again.

I was surprised how much oil our new board took. I did it over a couple of days, everytime thinking I'd used too much. But it soaked in. I poured plenty on and then spread it out with my fingers. Eventually about a quarter the bottle was used up. It's a big, beech cutting board, 18x12 inches and over an inch thick. It looks great now and there is barely a smell to the oil, hardly any at all - which I like. The only thing I think needs sorting out is the bottle top, which flips to close, except it doesn't keep it oil tight do you have to keep wiping the bottle for drips. Other than that, I'm happy with the product, the price, and the ease of use.
