Jute and hemp rope typically do, but they will also mostly stretch back out under load... so yes, but it may or may not matter to your application. Best bet is to pre-shrink them (soak it and dry it out) and then not pull it too tight when you install it.

I want to wrap a 4" x 80" round lolly column with this rope. Has anyone else done this to know if 100' is enough? Thank you.

No. My rough math gets you'll need 111'. You'll need more than one roll.

Does this rope shrink the usual 10-15% ? I’m using it for landscaping rails and need to allow draping on shrinkage.

I don’t really know yet. I used them for railings and I have been pulling them to tighten at the ends. Waiting to see before I trim ends. If anything they appear to loosen.

What is the weight limit of this rope?

Soft flexible rope.

Perfect for my needs. I used it to wrap around the chain on my front porch swing..You can pull apart easily, it had some shedding my, it is not nylon rope...Don't think I would trust it to support a swing.. use for decorative purposes..

We used this item to make a rope railing. We had to feed it multiple times thru drilled holes and it held up well. Lots of fiber shedding. Pulled tight and holding up well. Very pleased with product.
