comfortable and durable
Seals perfectly, the opening is just the right size for a moderate hot beverage drinking, maybe too small is you're thirsty and wish to gulp cold water. Holds hot\cold for hours, cleans easily in the dishwasher. Very sturdy: I dropped it on the floor a number of times, and except for some bents on the leads that affect visuality, none of its function was affected. This is the second luxe Mug I'm getting, the first one is in service for over 4 years now

Great product, but beware of chipping paint!
This travel mug is fantastic for its designed purpose: transporting coffee to and from work in your bag without any leaks, whilst keeping it warm for a number of hours. I haven't timed it, but I can still drink the coffee into the early afternoon. It's easy to keep clean. When I get home, I pour away any coffee, open up the lid and put both the lid and the body in the top rack of the dishwasher. If you prefer a coloured body, please know that those aren't dishwasher safe, despite sometimes being advertised as such! Contigo's products only major flaw in my eyes is that the paint tends to chip or peel away. I like the look of the black one but went with the plain stainless steel because of the convenience of the dishwasher. When it comes to hand washing, get a good bottle brush and you should be grand.I don't necessarily think this would be suitable for using different types of drink, though. Coffee oils are absorbed into the plastic lid, which means no matter how often and well you clean it, some of that lingering coffee smell remains in the lid. I've not tried it with tea or another type of hot drink, but have a feeling it may leave a faint coffee taste.

Nice stylish design but doesn’t stay hot for long
Having previously owned another contigo mug that lasted me 3 years it was a no Brainer to stick to the brand. Being a builder the mug had its fair share of drops but lasted well, kept the drink hot for a few hours until one day the rubber seal of the lid deteriorated and it was time to buy a new one.I loved the design of the new mug, I chose the blue colour. I’ve owned it for 3 months now and it’s pretty good. there are no spills from the lid, I like the the function of pressing the button to open it to take your drink. I find it better for short journeys as the drink cools enough to drink from. Previous mug would be too hot to drink, still after an hour. What’s not to like about the mug is it doesn’t stay hot for long. At 2 hours from making your hot drink it’s lukewarm. A little disappointing considering the price. I like having a brew as you do, having a sip of a hot drink while I work, especially While working outside in the cold, the old mug was brilliant for this.ProsStylish design with no spills. Nice colour range, drink is still hot after an hour, ideal for short journeys, easy to clean the lidConsDrink Doesn’t stay hot long enough, especially for the price you pay

Does what it says on the tin (cup!)
I'd already bought a flip-top lid cup by this brand (it was on offer, so it was worth a punt) which I used for water, and was thoroughly impressed by how long as much ice as can fit inside would last, especially as I keep pouring fizzy water over it. The current record of at least one cube able to chink against the inside of the mug is just shy of 9 hours - gone midnight! During a heatwave! Obviously, this brand has thoroughly impressed me.I have a disability which leaves me only able to sit on my bed for the majority of the day, and I have an annoying habit of dropping my coffee. Obviously, this can be a tad painful, not to mention messy and expensive (dry cleaning... Yeesh). I didn't want to use my water cup, so I looked up different styles of "small-t thermos" mugs by this brand. Saw that this one not only has a leakproof lid like the other, but it shuts if you're not holding it open. It's not cheap, but after being so pleased with the first mug, I got it.Yes, my shaky hand has tested it, and yes, it's perfect! What's also great about this brand is that unlike a typical flask, it's metal inside, not glass, which is even better for such a klutz like me.I had to go out the other day in the morning (still during the heatwave) and wasn't sure if I'd want my water or a strong coffee as I was going to be waiting for someone for over an hour. Packed both in my bag right next to each other (drank from both in the end), and got home with some cold water & hot coffee still totally inside their own cups, not as much as a drip from either in my bag - a "sling over your shoulder" type bag, so I wasn't being careful - and no "temperature sharing" between them as I've had from the cheap, plastic (though very functional to be fair) lidded mugs I've had for years. The only thing you need to be aware of is there will probably be a couple of ml of liquid sitting on top of the "lock" which covers the hole you drink out of. A quick sip after shutting the lid sorts it out.I know that this isn't a cheap option, but it's the cheap options which have let me down in the past. Given how often I needed to replace them because the "hatch" which slides to cover the hole loses its ability to make a good seal, this is turning out to be very much worth its cost if only for that. The fact that I have dozed off for a few hours after making a coffee, and woken to a still hot drink is fantastic. I've even deliberately made a drink around 12am for when I'd had to get up at 6. Definitely was still hot enough to drink! Though I wouldn't leave coffee longer due to its own deteriorating quality of taste over time, but that's just personal taste and nothing to do with the mug. It's not *as* hot as on making, obviously, but definitely drinkable - and be cautious with the first sip because it might surprise you with how hot it might be!I honestly couldn't be happier! I even love the burgundy colour :D(And no, I promise I don't work for them!)

Totally leakproof
Well made, easy to use and pleasant to drink from. I like the fact that it is completely leakproof once the lid is locked. Doesn’t keep drinks hot for more than about 3 hrs but I use it around the house so not a problem. Great way of using up surplus water in the kettle once boiled. I sip hot water throughout the day so this works a treat!

cleaning

Nice upgrade
The new model has an improved appearance compared to its predecessor. However, its heat retention capabilities are not as effective, resulting in drinks cooling down more quickly. On the positive side, the quick seal feature is highly convenient and the product is easy to clean.

Perfect.
This coffee mug doesn’t leak, keeps the coffee hot, and is the perfect size. It’s now my favorite. I also like the push button delivery of coffee, so if I knock it over, there’s no spillage.

I love Contigo water bottles and have several. This will fit nicely in my work tote. These never leak and keep water cold for hours!

One Hand No Spill Use
All other thermo mugs I have seen require two hands to initially open their lid. One hand to hold it and one hand to flip the latch. The mug then remains open for one handed sipping. This does not work well on a motorcycle (or other bouncing vehicle) as the drink begins splashing out.As a motorcycle rider this Contigo mug is ideal. The mug is completely sealed between sips with one hand use. Just push the button in when drinking and it closes as you set it down. I have purchased two different "autoseal" models and recommend this design to anyone who doesn't like coffee stains on their clothes or in their car.

Good heat keeping
It jeeps the coffee hot for a good amount of time if the mug is full
