SpyderMen's Foremost Full-Zip Jacket

Amazing jacket. Hybrid like, with a knit exterior, and a soft fleecy interior. Well made, with great attention to detail. Thick, and Extremely warm. This has nice big zippers that look like they’ll last. There’s nothing wimpy about this thing. The hood is unique, so when the coat’s zipped up, it closes around your neck and UNDER your chin - making it perfect for layering with a hooded shell.I’m 6’2” and weigh 225. The XL is a perfect fit for me. If you’re on the thinner side the XL might run a little big in the waist.Over all extremely satisfied with this purchase. The quality ranks up there with the Arcteryx and Patagonia jackets I own.If I had one complaint it’s the two tone colors. On the XL at least, the side panels which are colored differently, are cut so that they’re wider at the bottom - which gives a visual appearance that the jackets flared. I imagine this wouldn’t be as noticeable on smaller sizes.

Perfect size medium. Not slim fit but regular fit. Typical Spyder quality. Not the best below 30 degrees but a good fall early winter jacket. I wear it all winter as I jump in and out of the car a lot. If you’re skiing or working outdoors in fridges weather you would need something more substantial. I live in mid Michigan and it gets brutal here. That said, with exception of those awful days, this is a great jacket. It moves well and is not confining. Exactly what I needed.

I love this thing..... Saw it at Scheels and tried one on....then I saw the price and couldn't justify it for $179 plus tax. Checked Amazon and found a MUCH better deal so I snagged it! Fits perfect, I bought mine snug. It's warm enough on it's own until temps drop below 40 and winds pick up. I throw my thin Patagonia puffy on over the top and can't feel the chill at all even in the teens with the wind blowing. The body has a sort of fleece lining which is heavier than what is in the arms so I don't seem to get as hot feeling when it is warmer and I'm wearing it. The outer material has a very nice texture that seems like it will hold up well....just look out for Velcro that will stick to it and "fuzz out" when you pull it off. I took a lint shaver to it and it cleaned right up....lesson learned!

I have to say I love this sweater. It is very warm and heavyweight. It has a cool look to it as its not your typical looking fleece. The only reason I returned it was because I really didn't need it. I had to many other jackets that I purchased that worked just as well.I did try this jacket in cold weather. It was in the 40's with no wind and I had a baselayer shirt on underneath and I was quite warm. The collar comes up quite high on your neck if you zip it up all the way and keeps your neck warm which eliminates the need for a scarf.The fit is perfect. I'm 6'2 200lbs with an fairly athletic build, and the large fit me fine.If I wasn't trying to save some money, I probably would have kept it. I would definitely recommend it.

Great looking sweater. I receive many compliments on it. there are a few downsides (hence the 4 stars):#1 This sweater snags easily. You really do need to keep an eye out on surfaces. When this thing rubs against something rough, you will pull threads. This results in little tuffs across the surface.#2 Long sleeves suck with this. The fabric on the inside of the sleeves makes it difficult to get a long sleave shirt in it. You have to do quite a bit of adjustment afterward.#3 Not for windy days. While this is a pretty warm sweater, a chilly wind will cut right through it.

I bought this to use as a mid layer when I go skiing, but liked it so much that I am now wearing it all the time! One thing to note: I normally wear a large (5'10, 190lbs), but it was too baggy when I received it. The medium fit much better as it is meant to be a tighter fitting sweater. Another issue I found is that the material is fairly delicate. I am noticing that the cuffs are starting to get "fuzzy" and there are a few minor snags after normal use. Even with the minor issues with the fit and fuzziness/snags I still am rating this with 5 stars. For what I bought it for it performs superbly and as a bonus it looks great. I have even received a few positive comments on the fit and style of the sweater.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. It’s his go to jacket now and he’s always comfortable.

Es el mejor, súper cómodo, transpirable y ajuste perfecto. La calidad es de lo mejor. Lo acabo de probar en la cumbre del Iztaccihualt a los 5220 metros no necesite mas que mi ultima capa para cruzar el glaciar por el viento pero prácticamente subí y baje con este producto de spyder y resulto ser lo que necesitaba. Pensé que iba a tener un poco de frio y no. Algo que es muy bueno es la transpiración

Spyder Foremost ha sido la mejor opcion segunda capa que he encontrado. Es un sweter muy practico resistente y muy caliente pero no tan agoviante ya que te deja transpirar. Encontrar esta opcion como segunda capa ha sido lo mejor. Lo he usado para subir el Iztaccihault varias veces y ahora solo uso este modelo y my chamarra de Goretex para hacer cumbre. El material con que esta hecho es muy practico, resitente, facil de lavar. Si llueve con tu capa de Goretex es lo mejor. Ahora solo llevo en mi mochila Goretex, una pluma de ganso y este modelo todo el camino. La ventaja de este modelo es que tienes movilidad no vas sudando ya que transpira super bien y si hay lluvia solo uso mi ultima capa de Goretex.....Este mismo modelo lo use en los Alpes y nunca tuve problemas en el tour de Mount Blanc lo use todo el camino y fue lo mejor que pude haber llevado en ese viaje.....
