nice cheap heatsink that work as intended. But, OLD> The adhesive they use with the already attached thermal pads doesn't come off without alot of elbow grease and acetone. Turns out, The logo on the outside is an aluminum strip slapped on with adhesive and ontop of the aluminum strip is a plastic coating that degrades with acetone! Whoops, Long story short, In attempting to remove the old thermal pad adhesive, I ended up having to scrub them for about 30 minutes to an hour removing all of the adhesive. (And logo -.-) Oh well, But ouch alot of work alot of pain. Used on DDR4 4400 CL16-19-19 ram. Keeps it around 39C in p95 avx large FFT stress test 2 hour. at 1.51V bios. :D

I bought these for a set of ECC ram sticks which typically don't come with bling like heat spreaders. They are secured with two tiny Phillips head screws, and come with thermal pads and a shim for single sided DIMMs. These are perfect for dual sided modules; and if tightened properly, would require a lot of force to simply pull off of your chips. The supplied shim for use with single sided modules is made of foam. I think a better solution would be to include a second, thicker, aluminum back plate. Thumbs up for dual sided modules - not so sure for single sided.

these are fantastic thick heatsinks. i didnt end up using them, but i imagine theyd fit just fine on just about any bare module.

Definitely worth it if you are trying to hide those nasty, green PCB ram sticks but they do have the problem that they will slip off if you try to grab onto them to pull out the sticks. Worth it if you are entering a beauty contest but there are better things out there that will cool better.

This works great for both double sided and single side DDR2 or DDR3 ram. I would recommend and I would buy again.

Absolutely awesome product installed on four of my DDR3-1600 RAM sticks, personally I have never had them slide off of the sticks due to it being a nice solid clamp on the RAM. I ordered two sets of two, each set comes with two thermal pads per RAM module and one spacer per module. Highly recommended not only does it look good it functions and cools very well!P.S. If your RAM already has a heat spreader on it be very patient when heating and peeling it off do not go to fast or pry hard on the spreader as it will rip off your SDRAM modules... patients is key!

Work great at keeping the ram running cool and efficiently.
