This is a fantastic spinning rod for $120 bucks. I purchased the 7' moderate fast action rod (using the Abu Garcia Pro Max & Max Pro Spinning Fishing 30 Sized Reel) and it handles 4 to 7 pound Bass perfectly. The moderate bend helps to fight the fish to the bank or the kayak with ease. The moderate bend really helps you to work the fish and keep the hook set. It is also well balanced with the Abu Garcia Pro Max & Max Pro Spinning Fishing 30 Sized Reel.Just an FYI, The Abu Garcia Store (https://www.amazon.com/stores/PureFishingBrands/page/66E7C0BF-FBD0-4E52-B106-DE26F708D9AD?ref_=ast_bln) is not directly run by Abu Garcia. Abu Garcia told me directly that the Abu Garcia Store on Amazon is completely run by Amazon and Abu Garcia is not affiliated in any way. I point this out because if you need to file a warranty issue with Abu Garcia directly, you need to jump through many hoops to prove the purchase, the model purchased (Amazon receipt is not always accurate) and share many photos of the broken rod. Purchasing an Abu Garcia rod through Abu Garcia directly or a Sport's store way easier.I am not sharing to dissuade from buying through Amazon (I buy a lot from Amazon), but to inform you to be prepared when you have to file a warranty through Abu Garcia.

Outstanding and inexpensive
Shipping was quick and well packaged. It's an outstandingly sensitive and well made , as good as quality as my LA crosses for a lot less money. Well, definitely be looking at another.Highly recommended this rod.

Great rod
Purchased for primarily snap jigging eyes. This rod is super light and very sensitive. It loads up well and when fighting big fish it performs flawlessly.

Great rod for the price.
Although I ordered one and it was snapped. I returned it with no issues and got a replacement. I ordered this for my girlfriend because she had a bit heavy action before and this is just a notch down. Great rod for the price and looks sleek.

Never Buy AG again.
Don’t buy, poor craftsman ship. Cheep POS. I took it out the package and two eyes were bent, packaging was good, and there was uncured glue on a couple of places on the rod. Shook the rod to check the action and the rod broke. I’m getting the Fenwick that I really wanted. Only bought the AG because that’s what the old Penn reel came with that I resurrected!

Glad I bought it.
I have the medium power 6’6. I have it paired to a 2500 sized reel. Great sensitivity and light weight. Unfortunate it has some bad reviews. Mine has been awesome.
