really good talc
worked well for me for another use. Had no "filler" or junk...just pure smooth dust. If need more...definitely coming back for this one. Thanks

and someone in a forum recommended this talc powder to make the bag unsticky
Let me start by saying, I didn't use this product for its intended purpose. I bought an old external-frame Kelty backpack on Craigslist, and the waterproof lining was all sticky. After I washed it in the washing machine (per the manufacturer's instructions), it was even stickier. I searched around online, and someone in a forum recommended this talc powder to make the bag unsticky. It worked like a charm--though there is some residue on my stuff. I might just need to work on getting more of the talc out though. I wonder if any old talcum powder would have worked, but in any case, this did the job, and I have lots leftover if the problem resurfaces.

Works
This works as expected . I don't use it for a wet suit

Seems to work. Small bottle
This is a new method of seal maintenance for me, I like it. Dry and slick. More generic talc powder probably works fine but it's harder to find. This powder seems refined for this use but you only get 2 oz. in the bottle (I weighed it).I put the bottle and a rag in a zip-lock. Put some on the rag and wipe the seals. It's messy (powdery) but works.

Fits easily into dive bag
Comes in a jar that is the size of a kitchen seasoning jar. Fits easily into dive bag. Have not used it yet as Oregon coastal diving is pretty hit or miss. I have only gotten out 2 days so far and it was before I purchased this item.

Talcum powder
I needed strictly talcum powder. When I got it was a mixture of powders but no ingredients listed.

NOT 100% TALC.
This Amazon listing shows the front of the bottle only, with zero company contact info. The back of the bottle says: Ingredients: "A Mixture of Powders." By definition that means that this stuff cannot be 100% talc. So, what IS it exactly? The company should have to explicitly say, and Amazon should make sure that they do. Talc has been deemed to be carcinogenic, so you'd think Trident would have to say how much talc is in this "mixture of powders," if any. I happen to need talc talc, so back it goes.
