Amazing for cutting plexiglass
After a long time of trying to cut plexiglass etc with mixed results, I finally decided to try these plexiglass jig saw blades. What a difference it made. Cuts through plexiglass with ease. Was able to make circles and odd shaped cuts with minimal effort. Great product if this is what you’re looking for.

Good for a radius cut also
I bought these blades to cut 3/8" acrylic for a lower shelf in a two corner display units we have in our dining room. Our granddaughter is walking now and we did not want to worry about her breaking the bottom shelves. I got 16" acrylic squares on-line and then used these blades to cut the radius to match the glass shelves. The blades worked perfectly and you really can not tell the difference between the glass and acrylic shelves. As a previous reviewer stated, use a slow speed with no orbit when cutting. I really only needed a single blade since I did not have much to cut, but now I have a couple of blades for future projects. In the past I used wood blades for acrylic and plexiglass, never again. These blades make a tremendous difference in the smoothness of the edge and for some reason there is absolutely no melting.

Cutting acrylic is always terrible, these make it less bad
There's a reason everyone likes Lexan over Plexiglass, and it's because acrylic is awful to work with. It cracks, it chips, it's just obnoxious. I recommend clamping down the workpiece as best as possible near the point where the cutting occurs. This is always true for reciprocating blades, but acrylic is especially prone to chatter. This blade reduces it but it isn't magic. You can't just grab some acrylic and expect it to cut like wood. I recommend using strong double-sided tape, in addition to clamps, to help keep the workpiece fixed.

Worked great

Cuts plexiglass like butter and no residue
Did not chatter or burn, very clean precise cuts. Other blades I tried would crack or burn the plexiglass.

Excellent for Acrylic
I bought these to cut some holes in an acrylic fish tank. They worked great and the cuts were very smooth. Something I learned was if you use something like an oil based lubricant on the blades, the cut is almost smooth as glass on the acrylic.

Cutting with steel blade works better than this
Don't know what's the rave about this special made for plexiglass. I used it and the outcome wasn't that good. Turns out, a high speed steel blade with 17/24 TPI cuts much cleaner and cost half as much.
