Smaller step but giant leap over factory boards
Easy self install with simple hand tools. Wiring instructions are very clear if you are standing at the truck and can follow the exact location to the required wire taps. I moved my passenger side grommet forward about six inches to avoid the DEF tank and then came up short on the rear door trigger wire. Easy fix with extra length from the front passenger door wire. Installation instructions are well thought out including the provided teflon tube to catheter the door bellows. AMP harness wires match factory color codes. These folks thought this process through. Step in height is lower than factory boards with is a big help to elderly and vertically challenged individuals and they look good too.

Very nice running boards
Very nice running boards. The instructions don't make much sense until you lay the harness in place. Then it was fairly easy to get installed. After 5 years of having these steps, I do have one complaint. The driver's side motor gear box gets packed with fine sand and mud in the winter causing the steps not to function. Mud flaps help some, but the gear box cover doesn't seal properly

Great product bad splice connections
Excellent product. I only recommend soldering your connections instead of using the tap splices they provide. Overall this is a quality product

Great Product
Great product poor instructions! These steps took a bit longer to install then the instructions indicated and the directions could have been better written however, once installed they look and function wonderfully. The product is well built and came complete with all installation hardware. The sideboard LED's are a nice touch adding the perfect amount of illumination at night! The only reason I'm giving 4 starts is because of the poor instructions, the product itself is rock solid!

Great Steps!
Love these steps, almost as much as my wife, just don’t love in the instructions. Supplied instructions were too faded to use. Website did provide clear instructions.Small hiccup during install. Tells you to put the fuse in at the end and it works. Mine didn’t work. Spend awhile double checking everything was hooked up right. Took fuse out, put in, nothing. Ended up unplugging and plugging back in the cables on the controller box a couple times (they only plug in one day and we’re fully seated every time...) and it works.Installed on 2500 Duramax sitting 11 inches higher than stock, and the height is perfect. Tucks away nicely. Had to install as far back as possible from the front bracket with 37 inch tires. If you have any bigger tires, they may rub.

Best thing that I have added to my truck, the wife loves them!
I really like these steps. Thses are the best thing i have installed on my truck. It did take more than 3 hours but i could do another in that time since i have installed mine. The directions are just a little vague about running the door controls. Just read them very carefully and know that both driver and passenger side front door panels need to be removed to hook them up if you don't have the obd port model. The panel removal is not a big deal and the steps are worth it.

Be careful with over torquing
Awesome running boards. I do wish the instructions were a tad bit more descriptive when it comes to the torquing procedure. I ended up hair-line cracking one of the arms to the to the truck frame due to over torquing. Maybe if the pictures were higher quality with numbers pointing to each torque spec I wouldn't have made this mistake. Very good quality product.
