Great for bird watching
I have an older pair of binoculars that are more powerful and also a lot heavier. My wife and I recently got into bird watching and so I decided to get a new one. This is much lighter and very easy to use. It has lens caps that are hinged for the bottom lenses and one that attaches to the strap for the top lenses. That means they are always there and while they might get in the way, they are difficult to lose. The instructions are somewhat goofy, expecially the part about the diopter for adjustment if your eyes are not exactly the same or if you wear glasses. In my experience, the only one called a diopter is the one you can adjust on the right eyepiece. The instructions call both that and also the normal focusing ring the diopters which is confusing. The instructions are also a bit too 'cutesy" for me. I would skip the cutesy part and make the instructions clear, but maybe that's just me.In general the binocs are great and a great deal. They are high quality, waterproof, lightweight and easy to use. You could pay a lot more for the same level of quality and if you are looking for birds these are just the power and field of view that you need.I can highly recommend these.

Can't see with these things
Maybe it's just me but these things are hard to use. I can't see very well with them. I don't know if the eye hole is too small or what. But they make my head hurt trying to use them. The adjuster helps but the functionality is 4/10. I even turned them around the other way out of desperation. That just aren't good.Lol.

Surprisingly good so far
First, make sure to twist out the extended eye relief on the ocular lens, otherwise you'll never get a comfortable view. These binocs just finished a bird watching trip to Costa Rica and back, did surprisingly well for the price. No trouble with moderate rain, though didn't try them out in a storm. Survived packing and air travel with no obvious issues, wasn't notably inferior in optics to other much more expensive sets. Some of the rubber and plastic on the outside gets a little gummy when exposed to Deet, but that's normal. I don't baby my gear and these were fine on a boat trip and a lot of hiking in the jungle. I'll come back and complain if the glass falls out or something in the future, bot so far, these are looking like a good buy. Oh, did have one of the lens protectors on the front fall off, also not uncommon for binocs in this class. I'll probably replace both with a burlier pop-up version anyway.

Good pair "for the money". Keep expectations in check!
Good for the price, just know the limitations. These binoculars do the job they're supposed to do, and if you temper your expectations, they are worth it. I paid $47 of them, and they are fine for that price, but I don't think I would pay much more. They will most definitely NOT compare to binoculars in the $100+ range, but depending on your needs, that may be ok. They are somewhat dimmer than my Celestron Nature DX bins, so if you are doing something like birding the early AM or later afternoon, you might want to look for a brighter pair. Also, while the image you see is sharp and clear in the center of the view, spherical distortion quickly takes over as you approach the edges of the view. So the image doesn't look completely flat, but rather starts looking like you are looking through a peephole around the edges., Nothing too objectionable, but it's definitely there.I can't speak for durability as I've only had them for a couple of weeks, but they seem pretty solidly built. Nice accessories are included, though the caps to protect the front element can easily get lost as they don't stay on the binoculars that securely. The rear rain cover is a nice addition, as is the case and neckstrap. These bins would work well as a throw-around pair or something to keep in the car just in case you're caught without your primary bins.

Wow!!!!
I had my Zeiss binocs stolen recently. I did not want to spend thousands of dollars to replace them and was quite worried that the Hontry binocs would be a big disappointment after using Zeiss glass. But I am blown away by the quality of these. It is amazing. Decent image quality. Decent adjustments. And more. Also, I can get clear focus at 10 feet which is pretty close to what I got with my Zeiss binocs. But these were one twentieth of the price of Zeiss Conquests. That's right. One twentieth of the price is Zeiss. Don't get me wrong. You can't do better than Zeiss. And if you want to pay the money, you won't be disappointed in Zeiss glass. But for literally one twentieth the price, these are exceptional value. I almost can't believe it. These are so far beyond my expectation. Don't expect these to be as good with color accuracy, low light effectiveness or clarity at the edges (chromatic aberration). Not even close. But for basic needs, these are great value.
