Brilliant product
If you're considering these then i 100% recommend. Specially if you own a mk7 Fiesta, (original rubber covers won't fit with them but there are aftermarket bigger ones for £15 ish which do the job, or even don't have covers and it'll be fine). The brightness i'd say is equal to Osram nightbreakers 200% but instead of halogen yellow these are pure white. The cut off is crisp, no glares at all. Really pleased with the product quality and I'm confident longevity will easily justify the price. Only advice is to make sure the LEDs actually fit in the headlight casing, test fit. As my old E87 1 series wouldn't allow them to fit due to the plastic headlight bulb cover not allowing the extra space needed for the fan. Otherwise, a brilliant product!

They are amazing!!!
I e seen lots of LED headlamp bulbs on the road and often you can see that they’re on full beam permanently. THESE ARE A DIFFERENT MATTER!! Wow!!! Super sharp light beam with supe crisp cutoff lines. Fitted to my Land Rover Defender TD5 and they make driving at night an absolute pleasure!! Super bright and a really nice colour of light, not that rubbish piercing bright white light that means that you can’t see your headlamps at sun set. Very easy to install, just remember to follow the instructions. Just wish that they would pass British MOT!! It’s a shame as they’re so much safer that normal H4 bulbs and considerably cheaper that full LED 7” headlamps.

Long life ...hopefully
Easy to fit and only a little longer than standard bulb, the colour is excellent and less tiring than standard. I had used Osram Night Breaker Laser but needed to change after 5 weeks as I do a lot of night driving, this would be ok if I didn't need to remove the battery to change passenger side bulbs. I would have given 5 stars but beam pattern a little narrower than standard but very bright and don't dazzle like a lot of cheap bulbs seem to.

great lights
The install was reasonable, but the instructions that came with the leds H1 were a real let down as the hi beams internal wiring had the two terminals 6.3mm positive and 4.8mm negative black wire . I plugged in the positive internal wire into the 6.3mm as the led wire was red and the 4.8mm led black wire into the negative internal wire but this was the wrong way round so had to cut off both terminals of the headlight wiring and put the 4.8mm onto the internal wire and re terminate with a new terminal for the positive and the 6.3mm re terminated on to the negative. The end result was impressive and would highly recommend this product, note i have a holden commodore vy here in New Zealand. I hope this helps and a shout out to phillips rep who suggested the above fix please note car doesn't need canbus either.

Very weak light output
On the plus side, these bulbs are very straightforward to install. You just insert them and plug into the existing wiring connector. However, the light output is terrible. They are definitely not safe for use on the road as the light is far too weak. The beams are narrow and not very bright, similar to a low end bicycle light output when using dipped beam. Better on high beam, but much worse that standard halogen bulbs. Some other reviews suggest that they are difficult to install, which is confusing, because they are not, but that the light is good, which is also confusing because it is terrible. Maybe the ones I received were faulty.

Fit the baseplate first!
Great bulbs, much better than the previous halogen +150% ones I had used... found it a bit tricky at first as I could not get the H4 bulb retaining clip to close when bulbs in place.... then I found the bulbs are a bayonet fitting into the baseplate... allows the base plate to be clipped in place first, then simply slide in the bulb, twist & lock... connect the wire and hey presto. Probably in instructions I did not read. Only real hassle for me is that the back of bulb is so long the Hyundai plastic dust cover cannot go back in place, but that then probably helps with airflow for cooling. May have been a neat idea to have a breathable elasticated dust cover that could be put in place, but hey ho. Light output and clarity is ... well ... brilliant! Almost as good as my projector headlights on my other car. On Dip nice clear horizontal cutoff, with uptick at left. And High beam.... I can see at night!

Tricky installation
When I got these H1 bulbs, they looked quite easy to install, nearly one-to-one replacement of a normal halogen bulb with the ability to unscrew the fan for easier installation, plus the notches to align the bulb properly (something that has been missing from any other LED kit that I have ever fitted). In the instructions it was stated "fix the driver box firstly", which is the biggest misguide ever! The plus and minus terminals are not marked at all, it all looks like a single plus connector, so my understanding was that the body of the bulb would be the negative terminal (very much like the normal halogen bulb)... how wrong was I... So I installed the bulb, very nice fitting, easy installation. Connected the positive terminal, tried it and nothing happened... started looking at the instructions again, checked connections, even provided direct plus feed from the battery... still nothing. So I returned the bulb as faulty and got a new pair. This time I checked the bulbs first, as the installation on my vehicle requires taking off the front bumper, a procedure which is a bit fiddly and time-consuming. So I used a spare battery, connected the positive and as I thought the body as negative, and surprise surprise, it does not work... So I am thinking I cannot be THAT unlucky to receive two faulty sets in a row... I started looking at guides and videos on the internet, but could not find any for the H1 bulbs. What I have noticed though is that none of the other types is using the body as a negative terminal... So I started looking for a possible negative terminal. Upon examining the only terminal connection on the driver box, I noticed that it actually had two wires to it (I originally thought the second one is for the fan) and seeing that the wires (the very short part of them that were not covered) are actually in red and black. So this got me thinking the black part is actually the negative... and I was correct. It took a set of pliers and a very strong wiggling to disconnect the negative cable from the socket where it was plugged, so it could actually be plugged into the negative terminal connector of the headlight assembly... So if you have the H1 variant, have this i mind when you connect the wiring.

Simply the Best
Wow these are fantastic fitted to a New 21 plate Transit Connect no errors just pure white light You no won’t be disappointed with these Very very bright white light super cut off lines on the edge of the beam Easy install Fantastic looking No warning lights on dash Please note the cut out of the LED is orientated at the bottom, thus to say when looking at the bulb when fitted it’s straight across the top of the bulb hope that makes sense
