5FT Flag Pole Kit,Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Black American US Flagpole, Rustproof for Outdoor Garden Roof Walls Yard(Without Bracket)

This pole has held up to some pretty stiff winds since we bought it, but the 65 mph winds we just had made the top clip ring break. I realize for the price i could just buy a new one, but would like to get replacements parts since the pole is still in great shape, maybe a few just incase this happens again!

Exactly what was needed!

This pole is shiny and looks nice, but it is very thin metal the kind you get in a dollar store broom! I don’t trust that it won’t bend in half or the plastic rings holding the flag won’t snap right off at a speed over 20mph. This worked fine for my 1st use in a 4th of July Parade but if I were doing an event where I needed to drive at 35 or more it would probably be broken within the first 5 miles. I do think for the $$ it’s just fine and I should not expect much better. Just wanted to be honest in case someone else wants something stronger. Maybe they should put a disclosure that it’s only good for speeds up to …? Over all I’m satisfied.

Pole is sturdy and holds a bigger flag!

I purchased this pole, which was delivered on Oct. 10, 2023. The return date states, "Return window closed on Oct 10, 2023." This is nuts. The same date as the delivery. NO WARRANTY! Today, we had winds with gusts at 20mph. The first joint bent. I had to take it down. The listing states, "7FT Flag Pole Kit, Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Black American US Flagpole, Rustproof for Outdoor Garden Roof Walls Yard." It's not heavy-duty.

Overall I have only used this pole once on my truck for a funeral function for a fallen police officer , the quality of this flag pole is fairly decent however as stated in the directions given for assembly it states twist and turn to secure one pole to the other. This flag pole does not have the threads to properly twist and turn to properly secure one pole to the other making it very flimsy once installed and assembled! This product was highly suggested for the Flag pole holder that I had purchased for my truck. So far I’m content however I wouldn’t keep it flying on your vehicle for too long or it may get damaged.

This pole is very a sturdy it was easy to put together, and is exactly like the post. I got my moneys worth onThis item.

UPDATE: To really minimize the flag wrapping around the pole I recommend the following: 1. Adjust the mounting rings so they aren’t too tight, or too loose. Too tight and it creates tension and the ring won’t spin freely. Too loose and the clasp you attach the flag to can snag on the tightening bolt. 2. Make sure the handles on the tightening bolts of each ring are perpendicular to the flagpole. If they are parallel to the flagpole, the end of the clasp might snag on them. 3. Every one in a while, spray the ring with some WD40 to clean out the dirt that can accumulate and prevent the ring from spinning and add a bit of lubrication to the mechanism.I live in a windy area and I've gone through quite a few of spinning flagpoles that are available in nearly every Canadian box box hardware store. The plastic mechanism that allows the pole to spin always ended up snapping or the cheap plastic "flag pole rings" would break. My flag would routinely get wrapped around the pole regardless of the spinning function, so I decided to give this product a try.It's very sturdy. I had the remains of its predecessor or on hand and compared to the new, stainless steel pole, it felt really flimsy.I initially had problems with the flag wrapping around the pole. The trick was to adjust the flag rings so that the flag would hang a bit more loosely. Too much tension, and the rings won't spin as freely. The flag rings themselves are sturdy looking plastic, and the screws that secure them to the pole are metal. You attach the flag via metal carabiners that seem to be of good quality. With the flagpoles I purchased before, the bottom flag ring was entirely plastic and the top one was mostly plastic although the attachment clip was metal. I found that it was prone to rusting and staining the flag.All metal flag rings would be ideal, but this would drive up the cost of the product obviously as a quality set of metal rings goes for more than the cost of this flag pole.

Flag pole is nicely lightweight but solidly constructed and sectional allowing height to be varied. Follow-up customer service is excellent.Highly recommend.

This product was easy to install once we purchased the bracket. Looks great and for the price it’s a great purchase.
