Seems good, solid enough for a 22 mag.
I had to file it to get it to fit my single six, but it seems to be sturdy enough. May have over filed it a bit, which sucks.I'll update if it doesn't hold a zero.

single six pistol mount
I recently bought the new model Ruger single six(22LR and 22magnum). Wanted to mount a scope and couldn't find a mount to fit from local stores, found this Weigand mount on Amazon, received it today and had a local gun smith at Nagels mount a new Leupold scope using the Weigand mount. every thing fit perfectly. then went to the target range. super pleased.

Mutual Love
My Ruger Single Six loves this mount and so do I. My aging eyes need a scope to shoot 1/4" five shot groups

Left a small dent in my gun
Fit was fine but the fact that it is not secured in the front, only the back allows the front to not sit 100% flush if you over torque the set screw by the tiniest margin. But that is not the reason for the one star. The reason for the one star is that my once pristine gun is marred. After I installed then removed it, it left a nick in the metal of my gun that is too deep to be buffed out. It also left scratches that "might" be able to be buffed out but who knows. I brought this item thinking I could swap back and forth between sights and a scope. Well, you can pretty easily. But if you don't want to damage your gun you should pass.

Worst idea seen in a long time.
I have a new Ruger single ten .22 and wished to put a scope on it. About all I could find on the market was this mount. When it arrived I put it on the revolver and very gently secured the front plastic tipped screw. No go, it still made the revolver shoot low. Also there is a bit of side to side play and the instructions say to use masking tape to stop this side play.WHAT......a clobber job with masking tape? On a great small game hunting revolver, you can use clobber tactics if you wish, I want a professional situation.Took the entire mess to a gunsmith and found out this particular gunsmith was as lacking in skill as the design. When I picked it up I could see the mount not even with the frame, they had tightened the front screw too much and so naturally it shot low.Bad design, very bad. Not professional at all.

Only one mounting hole bad design!
This mount is weak which will give you trouble with only one screw holding it on the gun very poor design. The top mount forward set screw is useless and will damage the gun frame. Bottom line is this mount is mostly junk do not buy it. Hey Weigand why not design a full barrel length mount that uses both the front and rear sight mount hole for a solid secure mount.
