wanted a clean looking instalation and this was just the ticket.
fit without any trouble. replaced screwed on original rail and screw holes lined up.put a 40mm bushnell scope on it. description said a 40mm scope was the largest size scope you can use with this mountand they meant it. it will just clear the sight on the original barrel. i have since replaced the original tapered barrel with a bull target barreland the scope also clears fine. you might be able to get a 42mm scope without any covers to fit but i think that is all the room you will have.i am quite happy with the mount and am now trying to find a scope i like better that will work with this mount. installation is clean looking and solid.if you want to scope a 10/22 and dont like the look of separate rings then this is the mount for you.

Black not silver like the picture.
Such a clean look. I am really happy with them. Was a bit disappointed though in the picture. Shows a steel finish - which I wanted for this build, and it came in black. Still it worked.

Great Product
Hands down this is the best 10/22 scope base for the money. Yes, other base/ring combinations will work if properly installed and Loctite is used, but this system is rock solid. One note is it will not take a compact type scope if you are using one on a take-down model.

I had no problem installing the mount and it appears to be rock solid. The youtube video helped more than the instructions as they aren't very detailed but do contain enough instructions to follow. The only downside of this mount is the cost but is worth it to get a solid mount.

This is two thumbs up.
This did meet what I wanted, it is a very well built scope holder and is just one in itself. This scope mount is what every 10/22 needs because it does not move, with no parts that can move you have no movement which keeps the scope on at all times.

Excellent fit and finish
Excellent fit and finish, mounted as simply as can be done on the 10/22, has held zero on close to 1000 rounds over the last 3 weekends.IMHO you can't ask for much more!
