## Description

desertcart.com: Cressi Morea 3 mm Lady Monopiece Wetsuits, Black/Aquamarine, S : Sports & Outdoors

Review: Relatively high quality neoprene, XS too large for me - I'm writing this review to help with sizing. I'm almost 5'3 and fluctuate between 104-108 lbs, wear a Sz 0 in dresses, 25 inch jeans, & I often buy Girls Sz 14 for Adidas sweats and lulu tennis skirts. I have a fairly narrow Asian build, not curvy. This suit is comfortable & stretchy compared to cheaper non brands (i.e. easy to pull on), and the length & arms fit well. It also has flattering details & looks good. The only problem for me is there's an air gap around my lower back which will fill with water. You need a bigger waist than 24/25 inches or a thicker torso than me for a good fit. The zipper is good quality and easy to pull up, solo. For warm water diving (Caribbean, Cozumel) this is a solid suit & it's perfectly fine to use a surfing wetsuit for scuba diving. My previous suit was technically a surfing 3/2mm wetsuit and I dove in it for over 10 yrs (Caribbean, 80ish degree water) with zero issues, often to 80-90 ft in Coz. If you are a warm water vacation diver, this is a solid, well-priced, flattering wetsuit with better than average neoprene (relatively high stretch).
Review: Excellent. Would have been a winner, if only the fit was compatible. - I love Cressi suits and use a 5mm 2 piece open-cell suit for cold water free diving. My 11 y/o daughter needed a suit and has become too big for the youth suits, so we purchased this as her first adult-sized suit in XS. For the money, this is a superior suit. Absolutely a BIG step-up from the $70-tier suits. The neck is lined in open-cell neoprene to give an excellent seal (mind those sharp fingernails on this!). The 3mm/2mm makes for a substantial, but fitted/flexible suit. The zip closure is very well designed and rugged. The whole suit seems tough and durable. 1 was glad to see added reinforcing overlays on the knees. The overall design is colorful but classy. This suit (including the zip hardware) looks as good as many of the suits that cost twice as much! After handling and fitting the suit, my opinion is that this Cressi suit would last quite a few years and would hold up to some abuse and neglect too!! The only issue for us was the fit of this suit on my daughter. The cut of the wet suit caused some loose material around the torso. Anyone who has cold-water experience in a wet suit knows that any loose material leads to flushing and sloshing of cold water inside the suit. This negates much of the insulation potential of a wet suit. We swim in really cold water and couldn't go smaller on this model so......... In the end we went with a RipCurl brand suit that cost about 50% more. For that you get more stretch and flex. However, I have to say: This Cressi Morea suit was 85% as good as the more expensive suit!! If your needs are basic and you can get this Morea suit to fit you well, I would 100% recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this wet suit suitable for water temperature between 70 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit?**
A: Water temperature comfort (and for that matter, air temperature comfort too) is a very personal thing. For me, this suit is comfortable all year round in diving regions like the Caribbean. Temperatures in Bahamas can get down to the low 70s in Jan and Feb; to the mid-70s in Cozumel.

As a broad generalization, I find that women and older men prefer a bit more insulation in their suits. They likely would need more than the 3mm provided with this suit in 70F (21C) water.

In my case, the relatively thin and flexible nature of this suit, with resulting ease of dressing and undressing, and is a big draw.

It is well-made and attractive. And great value for the money.

**Q: I’m 5,3 and 110 lbs, but kind of busty (34D), should I go with a small or medium?**
A: I think you could get by with a small

**Q: I’m 5’10 and ~220 pounds. would the xxl in womens’ still fit ok?**
A: I would think you would be fine in a XXL.

**Q: Should the swimsuit fit very tight?**
A: The wetsuit is meant to keep you warm in cooler waters. It’s best for it to fit well but you should be able to move your arms easily. Over time the neoprene will compress and provide less warmth so it is important to fit tight but not be restricting.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVE this!
*by K***R on September 18, 2017*

I had never used a wetsuit before, but I hate swimming in cold water, so I purchased this prior to a vacation in Hawaii where I wanted to go snorkeling. When I took it out of the box, it looked beautiful - just really nicely made and attractive - for some reason that was a surprise. It fits well - the Cressi sizing chart worked appropriately for me. I tested it out in a swimming pool prior to leaving. The pool water was about 74 degrees and I felt a little chilly but still okay. In Hawaii the water temperature was closer to 80 I think (my ideal temp is 87 degrees...I know, I know) and I felt great! I put the suit on (over a swimsuit) both on the beach and on a snorkeling cruise. It's fairly easy to put on and take off, but helpful if someone can adjust the velcro at the neck. It's easy to move around in, provides a nice bit of buoyancy in the water, and best of all, kept me warm! I'm a huge fan and will use this again and again!
