Melissa & Doug Spy Costume Role Play Set

This was the it of the party! He loved this outfit and the mustache was the cherry on top. It was roomy and great material.. ther was no gun which i would have thrown away anyway but included the hat which the packaging said it did not. It was a win win.

I bought these for my 4 and 2 year old and they absolutely loved these. I try to buy as much Melissa & Doug toys for them as I can since it allows them to use their imaginations instead of playing on screens all day. This cute set did not disappoint.

Got this as a birthday gift for my secret spy loving 8-year-old daughter. I wasn't sure what she would think of this spy costume because it is all black. I had her open it first just in case it wasn't a winner. Well, she was hesitant at first because she thought it was just a black outfit. After I explained it was a spy costume and why it was black. she was all in! She ended up wearing it for our entire celebration and is eager to put it back on whenever she gets the chance so that she can solve her own made-up mysteries incognito. The spy sunglasses were a really big hit too. We ended up making copies of the mystery card and she likes to write out her own mysteries and give herself different code names. She is eager to wear this to her spy friend party coming up as well as for Halloween. It is helpful that the front and the belt are all velcro making it easy to take on and off. Everything fit my now 8-year-old really well! The hat arrived a little smashed but it is still in decent shape.

I bought the size 5-8 years as a Christmas gift for my 5-year-old son. He has plenty of room in the jacket, so it will fit for several years, and he can share it with his twin sister and 9-year-old sister. He is tall for his age (95th percentile, wears a size 7), so it might be a bit large on a smaller kid. The hat, however, is very small. I know he has a big head, but this is so small that it would probably fit my 2-year-old nephew. Fortunately, I discovered it in time to buy a bigger one before Christmas.

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson who loves dress-up and pretend play. He is absolutely thrilled with his outfit. The velcro under the buttons makes getting it on and off easy, and the hat is kid-sized, so it doesn't flop all over his head. He loves writing secret messages with the card and reading them with the red spy glass. The sunglasses really made the outfit for him, especially since the side "mirrors" allow him to see behind him. The glasses are not kid-sized, but two rubber-bands on the earpieces kept them on his head. The quality of the outfit's material is not flimsy like some other costumes. I am so glad I got this for him.

My 4 & 5 year old nieces love playing spy and other characters. The jacket seems very well made. A hit!

A little bit disappointed due to pool quality. But got what you paid.
