This is a beautifully written and heartfelt compilation of the author’s work honoring the horse. Uplifting and a joy to read.

This book has so many beautiful explanations for the bond between humans and horses! I like how the author says that, when watching Westerns, “The horses, not the men that rode them, were my heroes.... My heart wanted the same communion... that was shared by Silver and The Lone Ranger, Trigger and Roy Rogers, and Champion and Gene Autry.”

Like fine wine that needs to be sipped slowly, this book needs to be read slowly to appreciate all its nuances. I rarely reread books, but this one is an exception. I marked so many passages that I want to revisit. Horses do carry us from the material to the spiritual world.

This book took me back to the feelings and memories of why I love horses... It is such a lovely book! It touches a place in our hearts where we have long forgotten... I highly recommend it!

You can tell the poetry comes from the heart. Worth a read and then a re-read.

Her writing skills to put in words this unique heart connection is poetic and full of emotional moments that brings us to a special awareness of the strong dialog with the best companion of the Human being.
