Tall enough to protect a raised optic
This protector works well. I had it hit during an airsoft game, the protector was chipped but did not crack completely. Was hit again the next game and it chipped again but did not shatter. Saved my red dot sight, I definitely recommend if you have an expensive optic and want to protect it.

2 clear plexiglass protectors
Bunch of reviews saying the glass ain’t clear. Yeah, it’s cuz you didn’t pull the protective covers off (this took me a solid minute to get loose but it came off eventually)

Only one thing.
Fits just fine, functional, and easy to install.One hit is: on the material the clear protector is made of; I'm sure there's an ample substitute that could be sourced economically that would withstand multiple impacts. Plus it scratches pretty easily. This will save your real steel optic/sight, but you'll be out of the fight.

Saved my sons scope
Helped save my sons scope the first time he went to play Airsoft. Definitely worth it!

doesnt lock well
the flip feature would be nice if it wasnt cheap garbage and poorly engineered. the lens locks well at the lowered position, but the position flipped up protecting your optics doesnt lock at all, jostle your airsoft gun the wrong way and it flips down on its own leaving your optic exposed. only gets 3 stars because with some western ingenuity, you can lock it upright.

Worked perfect, not foggy
For the ppl saying it’s foggy, no it’s not. There’s film on both sides, with one side way easier to take off than the other. At first I thought I was scratching the actual protector on the harder side, but then the film started to peel off. With both sides off it’s super clear. If it gets shot depending on how it shatters use some clear gorilla glue to put it back together for a few more good uses
