I purchased this product, because I was getting Digestion problems. The problem started to abate in 3 dosages. It proved its Quality and Effectiveness with the cure. I took around 1 teaspoon early in the morning in empty stomach in 4-6oz of water. Had used earlier too so no problem with the taste for me. But, if you are using it for first time then use honey for taste. I never gave attention to the Smell. In the long run it may help you to balance your body energy. Some Ayurvedic doctors advise not to take it in continously give a gap of week after use of 1 month to avoid Side effects of making it a habit for body.

when I first tried this I started with 1/4 teaspoon in the evening,I quickly went to 1/2 because for me 1/4 didn't help. I decided to try putting it in empty gel caps because the taste really isn't great. Dont know why but it works better as a tea. Im not sure what the issue is with the gel caps, but if you did buy the capsule form just empty a teaspoon into hot water and just drink it as fast as you can.

Triphala is a powerful herbal remedy that I value for my health and wellness. Many westerners do not know of it's powerful benefits. One being something you would take with Shilajit for advances healing. I would highly recommend them both. I can't swallow hard caplules/pills. So powder works for me. Taste is really bad, but I'm getting use to it.

Came quick and as described. Used as an ingredient for a facial. Worked well and my skin was so smooth after!

My triphala powder envelope came packed in an envelope that said ‘open to see product’. I opened it, started pulling out the inner envelope, and got hit with something that smelled like pure concentrated moth ball, and it burned my sinuses. I neti’d my sinuses to rinse some away, and my head is killing me. I don’t know what exactly the company packs its products in, but BEWARE and BE AWARE. I can’t stress enough how bad this was — and is. It still burns. Needless to say, I put the whole thing outdoors, opened my windows and turned my exhaust fan on. I didn’t open the inner package, but I can’t imagine anything coming out of that package that would be good to put in ones body. I’m sitting here hoping no permanent damage is done. Sounds funny, right? Well, it’s true. It was like being near a chemical spill. We’re taking herbs to stay way from the chemicals ‘they’ push on us…and here it comes packed in chemicals. Maybe they do the outer sleeve so no one smells it in shipment. I’m rambling, I know, but I am so angry! PS. This is the first ‘bad’ review I’ve ever written. The thing I received warranted it.
