Exactly what I needed. Description is correct, arrived promptly. I needed it to fix a couple of necklaces which I had broken off and lost a chain link. So now I can wear them again. Thank you.

These would be fine for jewelry findings and such, but not for chaining.No matter how I close the ring, it doesn’t straighten perfectly flat. It’ll wobble a bit if set down on the table. It’s not really noticeable if used as a finding, but it gives a slight sloppy, non-uniform look to a chain. I don’t know if it’s because of this wobbly wiggle room, because of inaccurate manufacturing, or if I’m crazy, but it seems a tad bigger than 4mm too. Take this suspicion with a grain of salt, but if they’re cutting the rings the way I’m thinking (i.e. letting the tension of the coil slacken and/or stretching it to cut), it could explain why they’re warped and could be slightly off size. Again, take that with a grain of salt, because I don’t have the measuring tools to confirm. All I know is that it’s not as uniform or “tight knit” in a Byzantine chain as my other 4mm rings of the same gauge (I tried these because I ran out of the others). Also, it is just a hair lighter in color than my other stainless steel things. But these notes are all being very picky.All in all, they’re ok rings, the ends match up well to not be distracting or ugly (just can’t beat saw cut though), they seem to be stainless steel as far as I can tell, and I actually really like the little plastic case they came in. It’s just whether or not the slight bend will impact your project.
