Perfect Sunscreen for Sun-Loving Pets—Effective and Non-Greasy!
I use the Epi-Pet K-9 Care Sunscreen on my 6lb MinPin, who loves sunbathing by the window and getting a tan on his belly. The SPF 30+ provides excellent protection, and it’s non-greasy and easy to apply. My little guy hasn’t had any issues with sunburns since we started using it. Plus, it’s great to know he’s safe while enjoying his sunny spots. Highly recommend this sunscreen for any pet who loves to soak up the sun!

Good for Pink Noses!
Got this for my husky, he has a pink nose and some of his skin is exposed on the top area. Before using this, his skin would get sunburned! I bought this and had my vet review it, she said it looks safe so I used it on my dog's nose each time we go out hiking during the day and it prevents his nose from getting sun damage. His nose doesn't even turn a different shade after using this. The con tho - it smells like vanilla. Why does that matter for a dog? Anyway, I spritz it on my hand then rub it on the nose and it works well.

Easy to apply, not strongly scented
Was easy to apply and rub in is slightly sunscreen scented but I like that it’s fda approved

Worked well on ACD
I bought this for my dog as he has a Bentley mark on his forehead and with the sun burning up out here in Alabama…I didn’t want him to overheat from the markings on his face. Unfortunately as cute as the Bentley mark is, the sun will cook their brains into overheating, but this did the trick. If it works on a red head then it’ll work on anything

Great for dogs!!
I love this spray! I had some may years ago, but the can was packaged differently. I used to take all my dogs to the beach with me. Unfortunately all the dogs that went with me were all older and had passed away in the past 8 months. My remaining dogs have never been to the beach. However, my husband and I have now gotten into camping. We have a Rottweiler puppy and English Mastiff. It is very important to me to use the best products on my babies since I am a veterinary assistant and in school to become a technician. I searched until I found this again. I ordered it quickly! I have been using it on my babies with no problems. The smell is non existent. It doesn't leave them feeling oily. They also don't lick at it to get it off either. I feel so much better having sunscreen on my dogs. People use sunscreen so why shouldn't dogs as well. They have also gone hiking with us and we use this product. When I run out, I definitely plan on buying more. I think the price is good as well.

Unsure
I'm not commenting on the effectiveness of this item as I only used it once on my dog. I found when spreading it on his fur/skin that the product 'stung' on my hands and I don't know how it may have felt on sensitive dog skin. Also, I had trouble getting the sprayer to work without dripping/wasting the product.

Great protection for your dogs
Always had and issue with my dogs getting sunburned. After using K-9 care they can stay in sun and play without skin irritation. After a swim it needs to be applied again but it it super easy even on wet fur

Perfect sunscreen for my dog.
The short version:Love this product. My dog doesn't try to lick it, it isn't sticky or weird smelling. Well, it smells like sunscreen. The aerosol is gentle, not startling, it's easy to us at all angles.Suggest to anyone with fair skinned dogs. The long version:Shortly after we adopted Delilah, she got this tiny little bump that looked like a mole. The vet suggested we biopsy it, since her medical history was unknown to us, and make sure it wasn't cancer. It wasn't. Whew. The vet explained it was the sun causing the blood vessels close to the surface of her skin to... never mind, it's technical. But she has a sun sensitivity. She's got white skin under that ginger fur. Guess she takes after me. We learned it's called Canine Solar Dermititis (or Canine Solar Urticaria), which is, when she goes outside, and lays around, she gets hives. Sometimes it looks awful. And these bumps could turn into more of those mole things. This is perfect for when we are out in the sun for a few hours, like the beach. Or when it's a nice day and she wants to lay on the porch and sunbathe. It does feel nice.I also use another sunscreen, after her bath while she's still a bit damp. It's supposedly good for 8 days. It's called Quic Screen. Exhibitor Laboratories Quic Screen Sunscreen
