Easy and fun to use
I bought this for my grand kids to do their fun videos and pictures without worrying about them dropping a phone. Set it up on a table and let them have their fun. I also wanted to try this on zoom calls so I could move around a bit and not be forced to sit still for an entire call/meeting. After using this for a couple weeks I can say that it is sturdy enough to handle the kids use and my zoom call use and has not shown any signs of wear and tear. One thing to mention about video calls, you need to have your picture on the full screen for the AI to work. This isn't a huge issue once you get the hang of doing a video call that way. The ability to be freed up to move around is worth getting used to seeing myself on the main screen. The dial knob clamp is large and easy to use. Since I set this on a table and not move it around I tighten the clamp on my phone snuggly, I don't over tighten it. Doing this I've set my curved screen Samsung Note into the clamp on it's side and tightened just snug enough and it has not bothered the curved screen. The battery in the device has ample power and I've not run out of battery power when I use it. I do charge it between uses.I didn't realize the software had the ability to automatically take pictures, that was a pleasant surprise. Mount this on a tripod with the built in threads on the bottom and you are setup to do easy portrait and group shots! I would be careful using this on a tripod. Not so much for this device, I just don't trust putting an expensive phone on a tripod. Using this on a stable surface like a table, bench, etc I would not worry. Also a warning, this is not built to be sturdy like a camera gimble so do not expect to do a lot of movement of the device and camera. This is meant to be a stationary device and for the price is a great deal for what you get. I had no problems using the AI tracking and auto picture taking in lower lighting conditions. This may be more based on the abilities of your phone but I had no issues with my Note10 and Z Fold 2.One small mention, my eyesight is not the best and most documentation you get is so small I have to find an electronic version online. This is not large documentation but I was able to read it and quickly setup things to start using it.Overall my grand kids and I enjoy using this as it's fairly easy to use and the AI tracking and auto shooting pictures are great for the price!

Good for the price; only suited for certain tasks
Solid, well-built, lags a tiny bit behind movement but overall pretty fast and quiet. All that said, it didn't work for me for a couple of reasons, primarily software:The first thing I noticed is that the facial recognition seemed to have a tough time recognizing my face except when I opened my eyes VERY wide. But the main reason it didn't work for me is that it stopped tracking when I turned my face sideways, and sometimes if I blinked my eyes for too long. Object tracking did not work for me at ALL.So, I'd say, for a use - like a talk or lecture - where you move about but remain basically facing directly at the camera this is probably a great device!

Well built and convenient device
Great little gadget it comes well packed. The package contains the device, a usb-c cable and the instructions. I would recommend downloading the Capture Genie app right away so that you can use the tracking feature immediately.Once I had the app downloaded, it connected via Bluetooth to my phones with no issues (Samsung Note 20 Ultra and Samsung S20 Ultra). After that set the phone in the cradle. The cradle holds your phone snuggly, and I had no qualms about placing my phone either vertically or horizontally. The cradle allows you to adjust the pressure holding your phone. While using the cradle, I was able to conduct several zoom meetings and not have to worry about being out of the frame. It does highlight your face with a green box that only shows to you, it does not show up on the viewer’s side. With the device being powered by a usb-c cable, you can use any power cube, block, or device. You are able to then still connect your phone to a charger if needed, this is a convenient feature if you are doing a long meeting. During my several weeks of using it, I have not had any issues with it. This device is well made and competes with higher priced models. I am very satisfied with the device and recommend it.

Great little phone holder.
The device is great at what it does. The face tracking is very on the spot. No more headache when your making a video of shaking hands or anything. Battery on the device last long which is good. The only thing I wish it can do would be if they ever get to enable it or do something to make it work with FaceTime so it can track your face if you move the device will move with you so u don’t have to keep adjusting the phone or the stand itself. But all it was worth the $40 bucks I spent. My son love it the most because he use it to go live with his friends and video record of what he does.

Pretty Disappointing
Tried using these for auditions and content creating but the app isn't very user friendly. Recording with the app made my videos come out with a poor, grainy quality.

Great bang for your bucks!
I just got this in and have been putting it to use. It came nicely packed and arrived quickly to my doorstep. The clip that holds the phone is very secure. Phones are getting more expensive now, so I liked that it securely held my phone without me having to worry about it coming loose. The quality of the build is great. It doesn't feel cheap. To use it, you just have to download the Capture Genie app, connect it via blue tooth and you're good to go. It's pretty straight forward to use. I have had no issues with it so far. It tracks objects and people very well. This will come in handy for you if you like to take videos or photos and have no one to take it for you. You just set it up and record. I'd definitely recommend this.

It doesn't connect
It doesn't connect! I've tried several times to connect or allow it to connect as requested......no connection. Frustrating. Maybe it's not really for androids
