Q: Is this compatible with the iPad 8th Gen 2020?

This stylus is not an Apple Pencil---so it will NOT perform the specialized tasks that the Pencil does--- such as pressure sensitive strokes or Scribble. It does a superb job of substituting for a finger tip. I do use is on both an iPad Pro and a older iPad. It offers precise selectivity and great visibility for typing or for sketching, for example. I use it daily. Even if you do have an Apple Pencil, I think you would find this a valuable tool.

Q: Does anyone know if this offers palm rejection?

No. Adonit only offers palm rejection on its most expensive Pixel model.

Q: Will this stylus fit into an iPad case with an Apple Pencil slot?

I would think so, since this stylus is thin. I have had both the apple pencil and this stylus. I believe the apple pencil id a little thicker.
