Cottonique Hypoallergenic Elasticized Boxer Brief for Women with Skin Allergies and Sensitive Skin

The fit was decent, although it would have been better without the waistband which was tighter than the rest of the material. I see this says "Elasticized" but I just assumed it meant something different than the usual elastic waistband on other underwear. It is accurate to say there is an elastic waistband that is sewn inside the cotton material. For anyone avoiding elastic in general, I do not recommend this. if you don't mind elastic that has cotton around it (and is still quite tight), then this is fine. I returned mine. I love Cottonique's products but not this one.

I spent a lot of money on these panties because for people like myself, with allergic reactions to elastic and synthetic fabrics there are not many choices out in the market world. Even though I bought these a size larger, I find that the fit around the rear end is very snug and the waist band fits below the waist. I don't know if that's how they're suppose to fit, but then they should call them hipsters instead of briefs. Briefs are suppose to give full coverage. I will have to find another style that may work better for me.

I purchased these as an alternative to "bike shorts" for under skirts while traveling. These are basically men's boxer briefs. The cut on these has not been altered to accommodate a person w/hips or a butt, like a women have. I read quite a few reviews before purchasing & saw that several people felt the sizing was off, but no one indicated the reason as to why. I wanted something to help avoid chaffing on my thighs while wearing a skirt in hot/humid places. In addition to not really fitting correctly, once they were damp from sweat, they didn't dry out as I had hoped cotton would. This, in fact, made chaffing worse. I ended up not wearing them, after 2 tries. It was very frustrating. Should've just taken my bike shorts.

What I like most about Woman's Boxer Briefs(2 Pack) (9) is that they are 100% cotton. I have a latex allergy, so what I like least about these Boxer Briefs is that their covered waist band, unfortunately, uses latex thread --- However, since the pant part of the brief is cotton, I roll the waist band down 3 times, covering it with the brief's cotton and wear the brief, with-out harm to my allergic skin. Of course, wearing this now bulky brief on my slender self, requires that I restricted the Boxer Briefs to bedtime. So, for daytime wear, I shop elsewhere. The Boxer Brief wash at any temperature without shrinking; and, that is why they are still in my dresser-drawer.

I wanted to wear these around the house and they are perfect for that. I ordered a small set a year ago for my daughter which were very soft and she used them for pajamas. I ordered a set for me in a 7 and to compare the sets, mine are not as soft. So different batch of manufacturing...don't know what happened. However, mine are really nice and I am glad I ordered them. Great for comfort during periods...very comfortable and not binding.

Comfortable. I use these under pants that contain spandex to protect my skin as I have an allergy. They are also great for sleeping in. But, on the other hand, beware if you have a polyester/glycol allergy as the seams in these underwear are polyester thread.

Underwear which do not chafe and are soft and comfortable.

I bought these for my mother as she is unable to have elastic on garments. She said these were the most comfortable underwear she has ever worn and she is 88. Has asked me to order her more.

After about 5 wears and washes a hole is developing along a seam.
