Chinese Character Stories and Writing Practice 1

I brought another book as a gift for my friend's kid from this seller and also found this book. As a mandarin teacher, I was searching for a writing exercise book for my students for quite a long time. So I also brought one. After receiving the book, I have to say I really like it and it works perfectly in my class!Unlike the other one that I brought, this one includes lots of writing exercises, which provide students opportunities to actually write in Chinese characters. This book also includes background stories for each character to facilitate memorization. I was a little worried about the context of the book since it was specifically designed for young learners. However, the entire book does not look childish and can also be used for my adult learners. Highly recommend

This is the right book for the Chinese writing beginners to practice. It shows the origins of each specific character, and the order of the strikes for writing this character. And it gives more spaces in squares to practice more. You can even copy each page for the future uses, practice makes perfect, allowing the character looks better and more smoothly.

I dont usually do reviews, but I bought this and noticed the book just came out. I couldn't pass up the chance to be first.I got this for my son, who's learning Chinese at school. I already expected the book to be writing practice for him, but what surprised me is that I ended learning from it.The authors added some backstory to the characters, and explanations for why they look the way they do. This clicked with my son, but also with me, and I had no intention of learning anything when I looked over his work.5 stars for this, and I've already ordered their other workbook.

Really good books for young kids to learn Mandarin! The pictures of the Chinese characters help a lot to remember them. My daughter speaks way more Mandarin than before and she would do quick practice by flipping the book and reading out loud. Definitely recommend it!
