Baboochi is a big success with my 6 1/2 year old son. It's been “Baboochi this” and “Baboochi that” since its arrival.He has a select few stuffed animals that live on his bed. He sleeps with them and arranges them in different ways each morning. So now Baboochi has joined the team.Baboochi has been getting a lot of hugs and my wife and I have been made to hug Baboochi a few times too. My son is really smitten with his new friend.I showed our son how Baboochi's arms and legs are able to move and stay that way and before bed time, I found he had arranged Baboochi in a running position.I read to my son the accompanying Baboochi book while he cuddled the stuffed animal. My son has a lot of interest in the galaxy, so he enjoyed the book. He either lies quietly and listens, when he’s enjoying a book, or he says “let’s read something else”. He lay quietly for the whole book and had a few originations about the story. At the end of the story I pointed out that he was now one of the people who has adopted a Boboochi. In my opinion; the end of the story has a great twist. I wasn’t expecting that. The whole “they’ve arrived to the planet and need to be adopted” and then the website – it's really different and endearing. I told my son about the adoption papers but that was over his head. Needless to say, he went to sleep cuddling the stuffed animal.The next morning he was back at it and had filled in the "my name" section of the book with his name and the name he has given Baboochi, which is "Bubblegum".

Very nice stuffed toy for a child. The book was not quite what I expected. I Thought it would be bigger with a little more of a story. There is suppose to be more books that will continue the story that will be available to purchase.My grandson did like the furry toy and the story. The adoption paper was not included with the toy. There was instructions in the box how to get it on the internet. I did that before I gave it to him. If I had not opened the box and looked for the adoption paper It would not have been included with the toy.It does make a nice gift for a boy or girl. I would purchase it again.

Cute stuffed animal but that is all it is, with a book. My room mate ordered this for me assuming some how that it was an interactive toy but when it arrived I found that it is nothing more then a stuffed animal with a book. Wasn't real thrilled with my room mate or the product. My grand baby looked at it & stuck it in the pile of other stuffed animals, hasn't touched it since. He likes the book but he always likes it when you read to him, even the news paper, lol. The book isn't very long either so the thrill of the book is short lived as well.

Such a cute idea! When I saw this educational toy and the idea that it's an alien that comes to Earth and the child basically adopts it and has to teach it things (like good manners which is what we focus on), I scooped one up. My 3 year old is so cute and has been including him and showing him things (like we be quiet when babies are sleeping, or showing how we eat with a fork at the dinner table, etc). Very fun idea and we're loving it so far! Also a great gift

This litte Baboochi is a cute little stuffed monster. He has posable arms and feet. What I wasn't crazy about was the book. It wasn't quality made. The story was cute and was about the Baboochi looking for a new planet where he could live. Earth was his choice but he had to be adopted by someone....who would be the recipient of this little guy. All in all , the idea is really clever and creative. I just wish the book was a little better made.

I brought 2 of these adorable Baboochi Stuffed Animals for my 5 year old son and my 7 year old daughter. They are obsessed with their Baboochi doll. They loved reading his story, and making a home for them in their room. They sleep with their Baboochi toy, take him on long car rides, and play make believe with their friends. I highly recommend this unique stuffed animal toy and book!

A bendable smiling little blue ball of fluf from outer space! (You can bend his arms & legs) Who wouldn't love that!? I'm curious to see where the series goes with the books but even without the total interest in the book yet at my kids' ages, 1 & 3 - they adore their little baboochi guys! They each have one. I feel like once they can grasp the adoption we will go on & get them a bit more involved in the whole process and idea behind it.

We're very happy with our Baboochi! I read my 3 year the story every couple of nights before bad and she holds Baboochi while I read, playing alone. It's a great story about taking care of one's things and the space around them - valuable lessons to be had here. We also discovered that Baboochi is washer safe as my daughter put him in there without our knowledge and Baboochi came out clean and completely in tact. Very happy with our purchase.
