A: Back in the 70s it was used by McDonald's to fry French fries,  so I'd assume 375 to 400°F

**Q: How to store tallow after opening? How long?**
A: After the jar is opened, then it needs to be kept in the refrigerator or freezer.

**Q: Has anyone had any luck with making soap with this?**
A: Dunno... used mine for blackpowder lube.
