This product is just what I needed to put in new vapor barriers in my Jeep WJ doors. It worked well when I installed it in low 80-degree weather. Easy to work with and made quick install. I did all four doors and still have 2/3 of the strips left. The product shipped from southern Michigan and I didn't have any issues with it being melted or squished together.

We learned about this product from watching a video to seal headlight leaks from rain water. Since used this we have had no more issues. It works wonders! Very happy with this purchase!

Strips would not separate from the wax paper, they literally came off in pieces. I have used this product in the auto body industry for many years. Never had this happen like this. I got my job completed! This was very aggravating! I had no option for Overall Rating in order to send this complaint, I was forced to give a rating. It did not deserve even ONE star.

Scope: I refreshed the vapor barrier on four car doors. I used about 20 strips or less.Critical comments: The box was clearly stored with little care. Looked squished, the cardboard edges were frayed. The wax paper that divides the trays of strips stuck to the caulk like an old sticker and was a pain to remove at times. The caulk was all stuck together so I used an xacto blade the separate the pieces. Installing on a warm day, the strips would sag and droop when handling them, thinning them out a bit. I doubled over the pieces at times to compensate.Positive remarks: This product is stickier than the OEM caulk I removed. It stays in place well. Easy to manipulate until it is adhered to metal. Fair price point, I suppose.Overall: It worked and helped me finish my job. I expected a more consistent product. Quality control might be on 3M, might be on the warehouse, I don't know. There is likely way better product out there but if you're on a time-crunch or budget like I was, I'd consider this produt.
