Weird way to source coffee
So tasty though. Def the best I've ever had. I get the steep price. Get it once or twice a year as a treat. No bitterness at all

A very smooth cup of coffee!
I bought this coffee to knock a item off of my bucket list. I was very pleased with the falvor and how smooth this cup of coffee is. I shared some with coworkers who were not quite sure of drinking the "poop coffee". After explaining to them how to make the coffee and lots of reassurance, they all agreed that this was a great cup of coffee. If you are wanting to try a good, smooth and creamy cup of coffee with no bitter after taste, do splurge and try this. Remember to always make this coffee using hot water and make sure to never add creamer or sugar. I highly recommend this coffee

Ok, not great
I've purchased kopi luwak from here 3 times and other brands as well. This one is the cheapest but I'm dubious if it is legitimate. Aside from that, it is over roasted, not fresh at all. It's just a decent cup of coffee but nothing special.

Would put poop coffee in my mouth again
To be blunt, this coffee is very overrated. But coffee is pretty subjective anyway. The price for this is not worth a continued purchase, but it is worth a splurge just to see how it is.On the nose, it is VERY earthy. Very smooth and nutty on the palate and finish. If you like this, you'll love this coffee. But to me, it was rather uninteresting. Adding a touch of brown sugar will help this stand out a little, but again... it's rather bland as far as notes go, but still makes a good cup of coffee.

Better than I expected
At first I didn't notice the difference until I actually drink a normal cup of coffee from the store and realized just how good this stuff was

Kopi Luwak
I really enjoy Shanghai-La Kopi Luwak coffee.I have one complaint though… the product is advertised as 500grams of coffee… this is the 4th bag I have received that has a gross weight of between 478 to 482g. This means that I am receiving far less than 500g Net weight of product. The bag that the coffee is shipped in has a weight of 29g. Subtracting the bag’s weight from the gross weight that I mentioned above… Based on the above weights I am being shorted between 51 and 47g on my (good faith) purchase(s) per “500g” bag of Kopi Luwak! This amounts to an accumulated shortfall one “500g” bag for every 10 bags that I have or will have purchased from your company!I need to hear back from you regarding acorrection for this weight and measure issues being experienced.Blessings

Gross… Bland… Bitter…
I was really looking forward to trying this. I’ve had Kopi Luwak Coffee before (AMAZING!) and was excited to order some for my family to try. My daughter and I regularly order a specialty coffees to taste. We love single origin small farm coffee’s from around the world. This coffee unfortunately not only tasted bland, but the only flavor we were able to pull from it was dark bitter cigarette butts. I’m so disappointed! It honestly tasted like they just put regular, over roasted, cheap coffee in this bag and tried to market it as something special. I want my money back!
