PROSCAN 37-Inch Bluetooth Speaker, Ultra-Slim Sound Bar For Smart TV with Optical Digital Audio Input, Black

I purchased this to connect to a 48" TCL tv in our bedroom. The TV is enclosed in a large wood armoire and because those speakers fire downward from the TV, little sound projects out into the room. This sound bar is a very minor upgrade in sound quality already coming from the TV. While this Proscan does project sound directly out the front, never distorts at full volume, and it has many features (Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm input, L/R component, digital inputs), the sound quality is weak, almost all treble, with nearly no bass response at all (very weak and muted). Quite honestly, I wish I had invested this $$ plus $30 more and gone with a slightly larger model from another brand that might produce higher quality sound, especially something with more bass (probably should have got one with separate sub box). Anyway, this is compact/small in size, looks very nice, has a small remote with all features managed from it, has an LED light on the front to tell you which "input" mode its in, and flashes that LED when changing volume or adjustments (feedback flash so you know signal was received from remote). Functionally the unit seems decent... It just has weak sound output for any movie soundtrack or FM radio usage. For standard TV voices or broadcast news feeds, this unit gets 4/5 but anything involving music where you want full audio sound-range, it's at best a 3/5.

Installed it yesterday and it works and sounds great!

Not very loud. This is a 2.0 bar, so don't expect a surround sound explosion. It is an improvement over the standard sound but does not get very loud. You need to use a tiny remote to adjust the volume of your TV if you use the optical cable. Good for the money but don't expect a lot.

Good sound quality, good loudness, good connectivity. It comes in the box with Red/White cables and not Optical, so if you need Optical throw one of those cables in your cart, too.

It doesn't have the volume I expected and it is a little muddy at higher volumes. But it does have the depth my TV does not have in sound.

I bought this for my father who hated the sound on his new JVC TV. He 82 years old an had never even heard the word Bluetooth before. He just called and was so proud. He hooked this up himself and said, "I can even run it with my cable remote."

I ordered this as a gift to give someone. When they opened it, it was missing the digital output wire and the power cord so it can't even be used. I sent an email about this issue with the product but never heard back about a resolution.

Second speaker sent out works good. The first speaker itself seems to work ok but remote appears to be NOT working, have tried new battery and still does not work, can one get remote replaced??? On further inspection the speaker is broken on one end, now what? Second speaker works well

Seems like a big pile, not easy to set up, instruction in booklet are wrong, you need both sets of cable to hook, will not just work from rca cable.| Sounds is like listening to a can at the end of a string. would not purchase again, do not waste your money folks..

This came in a box that was absolutely destroyed and taped back together. I’m missing the power cable. It’s awful already. Couldn’t tell you about the sound as I can’t turn it on. I’m completely disappointed.
